There is plenty of free street parking, so if you are driving to collect Vandy, you are welcome to leave your car. If driving the Great Ocean Road, please beware the hidden speed cameras - all fines will be passed on. Airport pick-up and/or drop off is available for a fee - see under optional extras. Average 200km/day travel allowance, any overage will be charged at 0.85c/km One way hires are considered - please check with me before booking one. Festivals will incur a mandatory $100.00 cleaning fee.

Hiring rules

  • 🚐 Vandy Warhol’s House Rules:
  • 🚭 No Smoking/Vaping: Please keep Vandy smokefree—strictly no smoking or vaping inside the van.
  • 🐶 Pets & Festivals: Got a furry friend or a festival in mind? These need to be approved in writing first. 💃 🕺 Large events are considered on application—just ask!
  • 🎂 Age Restriction: Hirers must be 21 years or older to book Vandy.
  • 🌦️ Awning Care: Always pack the awning away before travelling and during bad weather to keep it safe.
  • 💨 Fan Rules: The Maxxair fan MUST be closed while driving—let’s keep Vandy roadready!
  • 📦 Secure Items: Ensure all loose items are safely stowed before hitting the road to avoid any unexpected messes.
  • 🧹 Cleaning Expectations:
  • Please return Vandy in sparkling condition, just as you found her—inside and out. This includes cleaning all equipment, the fridge, and removing any rubbish.
  • Fee Alert: A cleaning fee of $200.00 will apply if the van isn’t returned clean.
  • 🧽️ Hate cleaning? No worries! Opt for the “drop & go” cleaning service under optional extras, and I’ll handle the mess for you!
  • ⌚️ PickUp & DropOff
  • Timings are flexible! Just let me know, and we’ll work something out.
  • 🚦 Driving Guidelines:
  • 🆘 In Case of Emergencies: If dashboard warning lights appear, pull over immediately.
  • For accidents, get off the road, stay safe, and call Camplify (1300 416 133) for NRMA/RACV assistance. Then give me a call!
  • 🛠️ Damage: Any damage must be reported right away. I’ll need to know who, what, where, and when.
  • 🚫 No OffRoading: NO beach driving, extended gravel roads, or unsealed roads unless preapproved in writing.
  • Make sure you’re familiar with the insurance exclusions, terms, and conditions.
  • 📏 Daily Kilometre Limit:
  • Travel up to 200 km per day is included in your booking (so if you have booked Vandy for 3 days as an example, you have a travel allowance of 600km). Extra kilometres are charged at $0.85/km. Early pickups arranged for the day before your trip don’t count toward your daily allowance!
  • ⛽ Fuel & Cooking Gas:
  • DIESEL Only: Vandy will have a full tank when you pick her up—please return her the same way! There’s a petrol station conveniently located at the end of my street.
  • 🔥 Cooking Gas: The van’s stovetop runs on induction electricity.
  • An outdoor singleburner butane gas stove is included, with spare cylinders provided.
  • 💰 Refunds & Extras
  • No refunds are issued for unused extras or equipment.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    What a great holiday experience, Regina made it so easy with the Vandy Warhol campervan. It was in immaculate condition, very comfortable and had everything we needed, even things you wouldn't think about. It was super easy to drive and I had no issues parking it whereever I went. Thank you for letting me borrow Vandy Warhol, It won't be my last hire.

    We had the most incredible road trip in Vandyweve been on many camper van road trips before and this van & this experience was our favourite. Vandy is so comfortable and well thought out, it really feels like your own little home away from home whilst on the road. Communication went super smooth with Reginavery happy campers

As a solo mum of a teenager, I love having a van to take off on a weekend to explore the countryside. The freedom of a home on wheels is so much nicer (and economical) than having to check in and out of hotels etc. I rented 6 different vans in Australia in 2024 for various adventures and fell so in love with the concept, I wanted to get my own van which I could also share with others. Both Vandy Warhol and Frida Car-Lo are carefully designed and fitted out to give you the very best bang for your adventure buck - whether its a luxury hotel on wheels (Vandy) or a zippy economical snail shell (Frida), I wish you the most amazing journey and will do everything I can to make it seamless and enjoyable.
