We are situated in North Hobart, which is conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from Hobart CBD and a 30-minute drive from Hobart Airport, making it a convenient pick-up and drop-off location. Each booking gives you access to our "Tasmania's Hidden Gems Map" where we're meticulously adding our best finds and personal recommendations ensuring you to "travel like a local". It is one of the most complete non (too) touristy Tasman travel maps you will find. Save up to 6cts/L on fuel* (*subject to coupon availability). Your rental includes a pair of local loyalty programs that offer benefits such as discounts on fuel. Storage: larila has several draws for your belongings and one giant back cupboard located under the bed for your suitcases. This last one's dimensions is 185(L)x48(W)x32(H) and can fit most suitcases. If yours happens to be too big, we can happily provide you a tray to fit your belongings and store your suitcase during your trip. Driving: larila is automatic, has A/C, ABS, airbags, all terrain tyres and cruise control for your comfort and safety. Available to rent: - Standup 11.6ft inflatable paddle board (supports 2 adults). - Inflatable kayak to enjoy the summer waters (supports 2 adults). - Portable Toilet (includes cleaning products). - Picnic Hamper with drinks included. Please be aware that National Parks passes in Tasmania are not transferable, so it's necessary to purchase one for your visit. These passes can be obtained in advance or easily at National Parks or Tourist Information offices during your stay. Hiring rules

• Emergency Instructions: If any engine lights appear on the dashboard, pull over immediately and contact the owner. In case of an accident, move off the road, stay safe, and call Camplify at 1300 416 133, who will contact the NRMA.
• Damage Reporting: Report any damages immediately, providing details of who, what, where, and when it occurred to arrange for repairs.
• Pick Up/Drop Off: Location: North Hobart, 5 minutes from Hobart CBD, 30 minutes from Hobart Airport.
• Driving Restrictions: No offroad driving, No beach/sand driving, No extended gravel road driving
• Smoking: No smoking or naked flames inside the van.
• Towing: No towing allowed
• Ferry rides: The only permitted ferry ride with your booking is to Bruny Island. Other boat rides are not allowed, including, but not limited to: Corinna (Fatman Barge), and the ferries to Flinders Island, King Island, and the Spirit of Tasmania.
• Mountains: Please note that this campervan is not recommended for unsealed alpine roads. Access is only permitted to Cradle Mountain and Mount Wellington, and only when road conditions allow. Access to other mountains, such as Ben Lomond and Hartz Peak (but not limited), is not allowed. Please familiarise yourself with the use of low gear range when going downhill and avoid constant use of the brakes.
• Unsealed Roads: Wellmaintained unsealed roads for accessing National Parks/Camp Sites within 10km are allowed and covered by insurance. Please familiarize yourself with insurance exclusions and terms. Extra cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is excessively muddy, sandy or dusty.
• Included Kilometers: Bookings include 200 kilometers per day. For example, a 10day booking includes 2,000 kilometers. Additional kilometers are charged at $0.00.4 per kilometer.
• Fuel & Water Policy: Return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel and water. A full tank is provided at the start of the rental. Do not refuel at unbranded fuel stations.
• Toilet: please note that this is a portable toilet and you're likely to still need to be outside the van to use it. The basic cleaning fee does not cover toilet clean and you will need to opt for the "including toilet" cleaning fee unless cleaning it yourself before returning.
• Cleaning Requirements: Clean the equipment and van; excessive cleaning may result in charges. A prepurchase cleaning fee covers general cleaning, but the van should not be returned excessively messy. Extra cleaning charges, up to $200.00, may apply for an excessively muddy or filthy vehicle.

  We had a wonderful holiday! The van was comfortable, easy to use, and well equipped. Paul provided all the necessary cooking tools and (importantly for us) a very comfortable and warm bed! We were able to get around easily and see all the wonderful sights, while having a cozy home to spend the evening in. Paul did an absolutely fantastic job giving us all the information we needed before heading out on our trip and had quick and clear communication throughout. We would highly recommend larila and Paul!

  We spent six days travelling around Tasmania in the beautiful larila, and by the end of the trip, we were genuinely so attached to this van. She became our little home-on-wheels. She was warm, cosy, beautifully put together, and somehow managed to feel both spacious and snug at the same time. Every corner was thoughtfully designed, every drawer had exactly what we needed, and the whole setup made van life feel effortless. From the very beginning, communication with Paul was exceptional. He was friendly, quick to respond, and made everything so easy. You can tell he really cares about his vans and the experiences people have in themit shows in every detail. Driving Larila was smooth, parking was a breeze, and setting up for the night took seconds. We loved waking up to different views each morning, sliding open the side door to fresh air, and cooking simple meals in a kitchen that somehow had everything we needed without feeling cluttered. Even on long days, she was comfortable, reliable, and honestly just a joy to be in. If youre thinking about exploring Tasmania, larila is the perfect companionand Paul is the kind of host who makes the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. We couldnt recommend this van more. It made our trip truly unforgettable.

  Absolutely loved my holiday in Larila! The van is so well designed, every little detail has been thought of. Loads of easy to access storage. Bed is huge and so snuggly with comfortable bedding. The pull out kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could need. The van itself was super easy to drive. Highly recommend and will definitely be rebooking myself!
