Please be aware that each rental comes with 150 kilometres per day included, with every additional kilometre priced at 0.45 cents. For example, a 5-day rental would include a total of 750 kilometres. There is no limit on the number of kilometres you can travel, but please keep in mind that additional kilometres will be billed at the end of the rental. FAQ’s  How long does the battery last? The basic, with normal use, fridge, lights and water pump the battery would have a minimum of 8 hours and a maximum of 24 hours of operating time for the fridge. Expanded, the van has a 110AH battery, the fridge consumes approximately 6Ah water pump 5Ah, lights 2Ah, however the fridge can only use the battery until it is half empty while the lights and water pump can drain the battery completely. Charging the van?  The van charges at 20-30Ah when the engine is on. Solar at peak will get up to 10Ah in  240V power site will get 18Ah in  Does the van needs to be connected to power to work? No, the van can work without power, however, it does not unlimited power supply. Read about how long the battery lasts for more detailed information. What happens if the battery goes flat? The van has 2 batteries, starting battery would only go flat if you forgot something on, lights, or the key in the switch, when and if this battery goes flat we offer 24h Australia wide road side assistance that will come to help you in this case. Secondary (house) battery, in the case this battery goes flat, you will need to follow one of the charing options (see FAQ charing the van)  In this case the fridge is the first thing to stop working.  What happens if we have a breakdown? We take all steps to make sure this never happens, our vans are regularly Mechanically inspected, at must 6 months apart, and we take your safety very seriously.  However, in the rare case this might happen call Camplify support for Australia-wide road side assistance. We always get on to repairs ASAP, repairs of breakdowns (not user fault, such as a flat tyre due to a nail) will be covered fully by Byron Bay campers, and we will take care of a replacement vehicle if the repairs cannot be done within a reasonable amount of time.  Do we need to turn the fridge off? The fridge can run overnight if the power is managed properly. Does the van have solar? Please see each specific van, most of our vans have a permanent solar panel, some a portable one at an extra cost.  How big is the water tank? 45L  Can we pick them up in tweed heads and drop them elsewhere? Yes we can drop off or deliver How does the microwave work? The microwave only works when connected to 240v power at a power site. This goes for the 240v sockets in the van. Can I charge my devices while the van is off? Yes, you can, this will affect the total power available for the rest of the items in the van, and the iPhone can take up to 2ah, iPad more, and laptop more.

• We expect the van to return clean from the inside while the out should be cleaned in the case of mud or contamination on the exterior, otherwise, a normal wash and wipe is included in the rental.
• Late dropoff and early pickup is %50 of the daily rate.
• Pick up from 10:30 am Drop off is by 5:00 pm, please message or call with ETA for a quicker pickup and drop off.
• Refuel fee: $50.00 (when the van is returned with less than a full tank of fuel) The vans are supplied with a full petrol tank.

  Not bad. Gas bottle was leaking - so we couldnt use stove top. Linen provided was good but pillows ageing a generally an old van (almost 500k on odometer). Issue with door open signal beeping even when closed

  I had a great holiday and the van size was perfect for me as a sole traveller. Sadly one of the draws was missed in the cleaning between customers with spilt coffee etc throughout the draw. Also the fridge, although empty was quite smelly and obviously overlooked in that pre-hire clean. Regretfully I do need to mention one other point in the endeavour that the owners rectify this problem before renting it out again. The bed collapsed on me on half a dozen occasions. There was only me and I'm 75kg, so it wasn't overloading. The problem was the board that is fitted between the two seats/storage units was too narrow and kept slipping off the lip it sits on. I'm sure this can be easily rectified.

  Our trip in the van was very pleasant, the van is well equipped, easy and comfortable to drive. We spent 16 days with the van and it was an unforgettable experience. I would like to point out that the company that manages the van (Byron Camper) was very professional. We took the van on a Friday, and on Saturday morning we noticed a problem in our van, we contacted Byron Camper and although it was the weekend and they were closed they solved the problem, changing the van for another one. Thanks to this our trip could continue. This company made us feel very safe in the event of any unforeseen event as they would solve it. We would hire them again.

  Van was good as advertised. Appliances are fully functional and is well equipped with cutlery, plates, cleaning supplies, etc. Driving was easy as well. Two things to note are that the bed is built over some planks that are placed in between the couches, and one of them falls a lot, as it doesn't fit all within the frame, so if you sit right in the middle, it might fall. This needs to be fixed. Also, the van has a good aircon for driving, while you are in the front seat, but it didn't really work much for the back part as there are no aircon vents at the back of the van. However, it was an overall good experience with this car, very comfortable to stay and set up.

  The van had everything we needed to have a great holidays. Easy bed set up, a lot of storage and being a high roof was a great addition to our comfort. The van has a lot of kms on the clock so it does not drive super smooth but great value for money. Easy pick up and drop off. Would definitely take it again.
