Tropic Trooper is the perfect size for families of up to 5. Perfectly suited for OFF-GRID camping, or relaxing in a holiday park. This 17ft pop-top caravan is easy to tow. Tropic Trooper includes: - Fully equipped with cutlery, chairs, pots and other basic camping items (even some family games) - Innerspring double bed - 2 x bunk beds, and dining area can convert into an additional bed - Toilet and shower with hot water system (gas / electric operation) - Oversized built-in fridge freezer (additional Waeco camping fridge available for hire) - Gas and electric cook tops and grill - Solar system with deep cycle battery - Aircon - Outdoor kitchen and bbq plate (Weber BabyQ can be added as optional extra) - 2x 80L fresh water tanks - Gas usage included in rental rate - Bike rack (for 4 bikes) - AND a Coffee Machine! Many optional equipment can be added to your adventure.

Special towing information

Electronic Brake Controller is required on towing vehicle, portable unit available for hire Towing mirrors compulsory, owner can supply (fitted by hirer). Caravan is fitted with McHitch towing coupling (refer photos). Owner supply coupling to be fitted on towing vehicle (by hirer). LOCATION - Pick up in Brinsmead 4870. We can easily arrange pick-up / drop-off from 6am- 7.30am or 4pm-8pm weekdays, anytime on weekends.

Hiring rules

  • CLEANING Tropic Trooper must return cleaned, or risk a fee. If the Outback Cleaning option is selected, the owner reserves the right to obtain a quotation for cleaning, and deduct costs over and above the Outback Cleaning fee from the bond.
  • DRIVER must be 25 years of age or older (driver's license details must be included).
  • NO SMOKING inside the caravan, a penalty of $200.00 will apply.
  • Small pets will be considered (at an additional cleaning fee). Must be kept off bunks and beds, and not locked up in van alone.
  • UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in the Offroad agreement before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
  • AWNING must be packed away before bad weather arises reduces risk of storm damage (Replacement value can be up to $3,000.00)
  • DAMAGES to anything that is not worn and with a value of over approximately $50.00, will be considered damage and may be recovered from the bond.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Holiday went well. Van did everything we needed it to do and had no major issues. We had a minor setback with the vans air conditioning unit, however John was very helpful and understanding. John's communication was good and he was polite and friendly. We would hire this van again.

    It was all great Although the microwave turns off after 10 sec Could of been me not using correctly
