Plum is a van for adventurers and gourmet cooks who like indoor comforts with their outdoors. She has a high quality fit out with a separate internal room for the toilet. The toilet is an awesome Natures Head composter. Check out the reviews, no-smell and far less hassle than conventional pump out toilets. A shower enclosure is directly accessible from the van. Plum is set up for stealth and off grid camping, carrying a huge 108 litres of water, plenty of solar and alternator charging. 3kW off grid power points. Well insulated and ventilated she will keep you comfortable in winter and summer. The mattress is high quality and super comfortable. Stow your adventure gear inside the van. A rear pull-out tray offers storage accommodating 2 bikes and gear, surfboards or whatever you need to lock away out of sight. The van also has roof racks for kayaks or surfboards. Plum has two kitchens, one internal and an external pull-out. The kitchens are equipped with induction cooking, microwave, a draw fridge and deep sinks. The sunroof is positioned to allow a bit of extra standing height at the internal kitchen bench. The external kitchen is protected from the weather and is well lit with overhead lighting. There is permanent internal seating and table for relaxing and eating indoors so no need to dismantle the bed each day. For external dining and relaxing there are camp chairs. Plum is a manual turbo diesel. She has plenty of power and is super economical on fuel. Despite accommodating permanent internal seating, kitchen and a separate room for the toilet Plum is modest in her external size fitting into a standard parking space and she is easy to drive.

Plum is based at the entrance to the Blue Mountains, 2 minutes from the National Park where you will find beautiful swimming holes, wilderness camping sites, hiking and biking. Heading up the mountains you will pass through quaint village townships on your way to fantastic waterfalls, beautiful rivers, dramatic clifftop scenery and camp sites you will love. Get in touch for a better rate on long term hires.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking inside the van.
  • 300km/day limit, 30c/km beyond.
  • Stay within NSW unless agreed prior.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great communication from Richard and flexible pick up/drop off which took any pressure off the trip. The van is extremely well equipped and the combination of good insulation, portable heater & multiple windows, vents & fans means it will always be comfortable no matter the temperature. The permanent bed is very comfortable and the toilet is really excellent, no smell at all! The van feels quite heavy and if you aren't used to driving a diesel van it will take a while to get used to. Plenty of juice in the batteries to keep everything running without needing to ever plug in. Would recommend

    Plum was perfect for what we needed. We had a great time on our holiday as everything went well and as expected. Plum has been thoughtfully fitted out and is good quality. Richard was excellent with communication.
