Our family has travelled all around Australia in Winnie, a luxurious Winnebago motorhome.
Our aim is to enable you to also see the awesomeness that Australia has to offer, with minimal fuss, for either short or extended trips. Reduced rates will be considered for bookings of 15 days or more.
Winnie can sleep 6 people (please note there are only 4 seat belts available while driving). There is a great kitchen/dining set-up, plenty of storage, a separate shower, and bathroom with toilet.
For pick-ups we are conveniently located just a 5 min walk from Turramurra train station. We are also close to the M1 Pacific Motorway, if heading North of Sydney.
Linen is provided at an extra charge of $199 per hire, to cover the time to set-up Winnie with both the rear bed and cabin bed already prepared to minimise your set-up time.
A kettle, toaster and coffee maker are provided, to help with your cooking and getting your caffeine fix while touring (coffee grounds and tea bags are also provided).
The bike rack is provided at no extra charge and capable of taking two bikes.
If you would like advice on places to see and camp then we are happy to help, once your deposit has been paid. We will also provide a useful guide to camping apps that will help you to find great camp sites and minimise petrol costs. A comprehensive handover, so that you can get the best out of hiring Winnie, will be provided on pick-up.
Winnie also includes the following for your comfort:
- Powerful IVECO engine and easy to drive
- The kitchen has a 4-burner gas cooktop, an oven/grill and a microwave (240V).
- Plates, cutlery, cups, glasses and cooking pans will be included for up to 6 people.
- Fridge and freezer (12V / 240V / Gas).
- A separated shower, heated by Gas or 240V power
- Bathroom with toilet
- Reverse cycle roof top air conditioner (240V).
- TV (can be linked to Chromecast)
- Awning
- 2 x 150W solar panels charging 100Ah Lithium battery, extended off-grid capability.
- 12v & USB charge outlets
- Gas cylinders, 2 x 9kg. Gas is included with hire.
- Stereo player with internal and external speakers (Bluetooth connectivity)
- Folding table and 6 x camp chairs.
- 240V power inlet (use at powered sites) and power outlets.
- Power cables and water hoses provided.
- 4 seat belts (2 with child seat restraint mounting points).

Additional information
Winnie has been recently serviced. If Winnie is returned in the same condition as at the start of the hire, there will be none of the additional cleaning charges stated. Winnie will be thoroughly cleaned before pick-up for all bookings
Hiring rules
- All drivers must be over 30 and hold a full C Class drivers licence.
- No smoking and no pets inside the motorhome.
- Soft luggage/items only to be stored inside no generators, bikes, fridges/esky, hard luggage or other hard items that may cause damage.
- No concerts/festivals.
- All tolls and fines are the sole responsibility of the hirer. The motorhome comes with an ETag installed, with the costs recovered through Camplify once your hire has been completed. Alternatively, you can use your own eTag.
- Sealed road driving only (not to be used offroad or on unsealed roads).
- The Motorhome must not be driven through flood waters, or on roads or other areas that are at risk of flooding or that have been closed by any public or statutory authority or in respect of which warnings are issued by any public or statutory authority.
- We recommend daytime driving only.
- Vehicle is fitted with a GPS tracker and reversing camera.
- 250km per day is included in the hire (averaged out over the hire period), extra kms charged at $0.95/km.
- Vehicle to be returned with a full tank of diesel or I can fill it up at a charge of $3.75/litre.
- If the toilet and/or grey water requires emptying, a $150.00 charge will be applied.
- If the motorhome is returned in a dirty condition, a $199.00 cleaning charge will be applied.
- If Winnie is returned in the same condition as it is hired, then no additional charges will be incurred.
- Hirer must be 30 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
