A brand new build this camper has all the basics you would need for a short trip around Hobart or a week away around beautiful Tasmania. Fully insulated to battle the cold Tassie winters and keep cool in the summer the van comes kitted with everything you would require. Large batteries with down lights, a fridge and USB ports. This makes the van able to cover you whilst off the grid for multiple days at a time. Van comes with an awning, camp chairs and a camp kitchen with lots of storage for food, and all kitchen basics you may require. Comes with two water cans able to be used for washing, showering or drinking Fia has been designed with storage space and roof racks - lots of space for mountain bikes or surfboards. Perfect for someone wanting to load their bikes up and head to Derby or Maydena for a few days! High quality tri fold memory foam bed roughly 2 metres in length, able to fold away and move for storage of larger items.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Sadly, I need to be honest here, as the reviews I read did not give us any clues of issues with the van. The van had; no suspension, no cooling or heating via the air conditioner, spongy brakes. We would be very surprised if it would pass a roadworthy test. Also, amazingly the van was not cleaned on the outside or the inside & my husband had to do an electrical tape repair on one of the chairs so we could use them. On the positive side: it didnt break down & the fridge worked. Hopefully, these mechanical issues can be remedied before it is rented out again. If wed booked through a regular hire company, with other vans, we would have driven it straight back into the premises & demanded another van. A lesson learned!

    Fia provided a wonderful opportunity to explore Tassie in a comfortable roadtrip. Ethan's communication was always prompt and helpful. Fia's fuel economy was also superb. Thanks for everything!
