Sadly, I need to be honest here, as the reviews I read did not give us any clues of issues with the van. The van had; no suspension, no cooling or heating via the air conditioner, spongy brakes. We would be very surprised if it would pass a roadworthy test. Also, amazingly the van was not cleaned on the outside or the inside & my husband had to do an electrical tape repair on one of the chairs so we could use them. On the positive side: it didnt break down & the fridge worked. Hopefully, these mechanical issues can be remedied before it is rented out again. If wed booked through a regular hire company, with other vans, we would have driven it straight back into the premises & demanded another van. A lesson learned!

Henry is a great, manual-drive, comfortable camper van for your trip to Tasmania. I would rent Henry from Ethan again. Heres my more detailed experience: Renter for four days with girlfriend. Although van has 278k kilometers, the owner has maintained the vehicle. Clutch is kind of stiff. 2/4 tires need replacement; but, everything else worked great. The fridge worked perfectly. The bed was very comfortable. Bedding was nice and clean. Van came with stove, table, and butane.

We spent two wonderful weeks travelling across Tasmania in Ethan's van. The van is perfect, the bed is very comfortable, there's just enough space to store our belongings and it drives very well. Ethan is lovely in short, everything is perfect!

Fia provided a wonderful opportunity to explore Tassie in a comfortable roadtrip. Ethan's communication was always prompt and helpful. Fia's fuel economy was also superb. Thanks for everything!

Great van! We really enjoyed our trip around the island. The van had everything we needed and heaps of space for our stuff. The fridge worked perfectly and the bed was comfortable. We would recommend & hire this van again for sure!
