This New Age Manta Ray is a 3 bunk setup + queen with plenty of space for the whole family. Will suit a family in either a caravan park or on private property. With all the creature comforts of home, you’ll enjoy living in our family size caravan. Complete with a full kitchen including utensils, crockery, standard sized fridge, gas stove top and grill. There is a spacious indoor table setting where you can sit to eat or simply watch the TV. The bathroom is roomy and offers shower, toilet and vanity. Conveniently there is also a small washing machine installed making camping life a breeze. To fully enjoy entertaining or just relaxing under the annex, we include an extra camp table and camp chairs. Special towing information

Towing: At this stage we are only accepting "Tow" bookings that are a minimum of two weeks long. An additional fee of $50 per day will be added to the booking. Towing involves a longer handover and greater risk of damage. We have asked Camplify for the ability to list the van under a different rate for "Towing", however at this stage they don't support that feature. The van has a 12 pin plug. It also has a red Anderson for the ALKO ESC and a grey Anderson for powering the fridge while travelling. You can get away without having the Anderson's plugged in, although nice if you can run the ALKO ESC for safety reasons. We can send over the wiring diagram for the 12 pin, we also have a backup 12pin to 7pin converter that if the wiring is different. This works as pins 1 to 7 are standard for all vehicles. Appreciate the itinerary isn't locked in, but if you can give us a rough guide of the distance you may travel, that would be great. FYI, we do handovers at Ampol Foodary @ Chinderah, (https://goo.gl/maps/ZXKzeAe8F1Jcf1Vx5) It has a large truck stop with lots of space for switching over and it gets you right onto the highway.

Dimensions: 8.8m long (28.8ft including drawbar, 22ft body) 2.4m wide (8ft) 3.1m high (10.2ft) (ground to the top of the air con) Minimum clearance of 3.3m high to be safe. Please note floor plan image shown is almost exact. The shower and toilet in our version have swapped positioning, compared to floor plan image. The dinning area does not specifically convert into extra bedding and the table does not lower or raise. If booking linen (optional extra) this includes sheets & pillow cases on all beds and the donna cover on the queen. Sleeping bags on the bunks, queen donna and pillows on all beds are standard. The vans speakers and radio are currently out of action.

Hiring rules

  • Hirer must treat our van with respect.
  • We do the dropoff, setup and pack down for you.
  • Towing: It is entirely at our discretion to allow Self "Tow" bookings. At this stage we will only accept "Tow" bookings with a minimum of 14 days duration. Please expect that we need to have questions around tow experience and tow vehicle (tow weight capacity) adequately answered before accepting the booking. Thanks in advance.
  • This is not an Offroad van. Drop offs with minimal dirt roads and minimal 4WDing still possible.
  • The Van is a 2016 model New Age Manta Ray 22ft (Body), 28ft including drawbar.
  • Hirer must clean the van so that it is presented in the fashion it was hired out.
  • Toilet must be emptied on return and cleaned prior to return.
  • Any damages or breakages must be reported and paid for.
  • No smoking in the van.
  • The bunk beds are designed to support children and teenagers up to 80kg of weight each bunk.
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
  • Van can be hired out from the NSW border down to Byron Bay. In QLD we won't hire/deliver further north than Tallebudgerah.
  • Hirer must be 28 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
