Shanti is my beautiful van she eludes peace and is ready and awaiting her next adventure. The double bed makes it nice and cozy for that romantic getaway or perfect for solo travel dying to experience Van life. Shanti is equipt with a full indoor kitchen that runs on 240 volts and also has a lithium battery installed which will give you up to 4 days off the grid! She has plenty of storage space and comes with an outdoor benchtop cooker. This girl runs super well and with the extra height is great to get around when inside. Complete with a portable toilet Shanti is ideal for those out-of-the-way adventures.

Additional information

LONG TRIPS - Hirers are welcome to take the van a maximum of 200km per day which is included in the normal booking price. After you reach this cap you will be charged 30c per kilometer at the completion of the trip from your bond which will help me maintain the vehicle. You can spread out your included kilometers across your travel dates however you like.

Hiring rules

Pick up is 4 pm / Drop off is 11 am (let me know if need to adjust times!)
No smoking inside
No pets OR pets only upon application
Hirer age restrictions. 25
RV must return cleaned or risk a fee
Toll road fees and infringement notices need to be reported. The Hirer will be charged accordingly
No cooking with butane hotplates inside the van (use BBQ provided)
INCASE OF AN EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, and call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise the Hirer how to contact NRMA. Then give me a call.
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where, and when will be required.
FUEL Return full of UNLEADED 91 Petrol All hires include a full tank upon departure.
CLEANING Please clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $150.00 per day
Service fee: $50.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

I had a fabulous time going around Victoria/SA with Shanti. She's an old gal, but nothing wrong with experience, eh? She drives well, doesn't drink too much, and the gear box is smooth. The back camera is great for reversing in any camping spots. The owner is absolutely lovely and helpful, very responsive, and knowledgeable of her van. The autonomy on the battery keeping the fridge alive may have been shorter than what I was expecting, but I did travel through a few heatwaves and was told how to unplug it if I ever wanted to keep the battery longer. Overall a great experience.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Van is perfect. Really good on fuel and you can live off grid for about 4-5 days. As it has its own power source. The interior is lovely also. 5/5 would definitely recommend.

Excellent trip and a great vehicle for adventures in Victoria. Ideal for 2 small people, all the things in there you need to sleep and cook. Good to use off grid as the Leisure battery charges whilst driving. A practical, safe, well maintained van and a cute beach-hut style interior that's lovely to hang out in.
