Amélie is a compact self-contained motorhome, a Jayco cabin and Renault motor/chassis. She's an auto transmission, easy and comfortable to drive, with rear view camera and GPS. A 2019 model in near new condition. The table drops to create a double bed (or two singles). Shower and toilet, 2-burner gas stove top, microwave, fridge with freezer, radio, air conditioning and heating. With a wind-out awning, groundsheet and privacy screen, camp table, 2 deck chairs and picnic rugs. Cookware, utensils, cutlery and crockery are included, along with a sandwich press and kettle. We're happy to consider a small dog.

Perfect to explore the coast from Portland to the Prom or through Gippsland, and the mountains from The Grampians to Buffalo and Bright. Perfect for a romantic couple's getaways or a solo explorer. Pick-up after 10.00am Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only Please note there are no anchor points for child restraints/booster seats so not suitable for children. Amélie is deep-cleaned before and after each trip, included in the service fee. We include an average of up to 200km travel per day for each trip, after that there's a 30c charge per km to cover maintenance. There is street parking for your vehicle where you'll pick up and return Amélie.

Hiring rules

  • Pickup after 10.00am Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only
  • Dropoff before 4.00pm any day of the week
  • No offroad or festivals, travel on sealed roads only
  • 200km travel per day included in booking; excess charged at 30c per km
  • No smoking
  • Awning must be packed away before storm weather
  • RV must be returned full with diesel fuel
  • RV must be returned with toilet cassette emptied and cleaned (or an additional $100.00 cleaning fee will be charged)
  • If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately
  • If in an accident, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133, then call me
  • If damage happens, call immediately
  • Hirer must be 40 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a wonderful week away in Amelia. My husband and I slept in the van, with two of our children in tents. The van was clean, tidy, easy to drive and set up in under five minutes. It was relaxing, comfortable and had everything we needed. Roy and Jenny were lovely to deal with and clearly communicated the van features. Thank you.
