Sylvester the silver Toyota Hiace has been lovingly converted to a campervan. The van is an easy to drive automatic. There is a pull out kitchen that nestles under a large awning. The van includes a cooking stove, gas bottle, indoor sink, fridge, large 50L water tank, and eating, drinking and cooking utensils. The van has been thoughtfully designed and includes a comfortable double bed, hot shower, outdoor camping chairs and table, and a solar panel to keep everything fully charged, including power inverter for laptops and USB sockets for your mobile phones. Additional information

Holidays are about getting away from it all, reconnecting with what's important in life and having fun. That's why we have decided not to set loads of hiring rules. We put love and care into preparing the van for every trip. All we ask is that you treat Sylvester like a valued member of your family, return him clean, damage-free and with a full tank of diesel. The pick up location is close to Regent train station. Full location and hire details will be provided shortly before your hire commences.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $80.00 per day
Service fee: $40.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Such a well thought out interior plan, amazing to drive, and loved every moment of my trip. Robin was communicative, easy going, and helped me out by dropping the van my way. So flexible and kind.

We stumbled upon Sylvester when looking at well-reviewed campervans for our interstate trip. Sylvester is packed with everything you can need, including insulation. He was a steady hand on gravel roads throughout regions Victoria and had a range of amenities to make our use of campsites more enjoyable, including an awning, deckchairs, and a gas-powered hot water system. Robin, the owner, was on-hand when required to field any questions we had. I would also say that Robin was very reassuring in instances of accidental dents and prioritised us being stress-free for our holiday. We are very grateful for that (but if a would-be traveller is reading this, would strongly recommend the higher tier Happy Camper coverage to minimise the stress and let you enjoy your vacation). 5 stars, would hire again. Great communication with owner, great amenities, and a cosy and comfortable sleep.

We loved our time with Sylvester! It was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend away. Robin was very easy to communicate with and told us everything we needed to know. We hope to take Sylvester out again soon!

This was our first experience in a van and Sylvester gave us the best one! Despite the rain we had a great time, it drives well and it has everything you need, bed was comfortable and space was cozy. Robin was friendly and explain everything on how to set up things and everything the van included. I highly recommended, will book again for another experience
