Our RV is one of a kind and very special to us. After progressing from a tent to a camper trailer and then finally to a caravan, a lot of love has been put into restoring it. The older style vans have so much more character and we have tried to keep it's original beauty alive by using the original door handles and other original features as much as possible. Duz Us comfortably sleeps 4 inside the van. There is a double bed and 2 bunk beds. 😁 The top bunk bed is only really for a small child under 35 kilos, so if you think this is not suitable, please let me know and I will supply a mattress they may use instead. There is an electric frying pan for your convience and pots and pans incase you are wanting to use the camp kitchen. Microwave is under the couch seat and small oven is under the bunk beds. There is also electric hot plates under the bed. Please note: During holiday periods and public holidays, there is a 4 night minimum stay for public holidays and 7 for Xmas and Easter times and peak prices apply. Please make sure you bring back the van as you got it or additional fees may be charged. Please let me know upon booking if you require the bed rail for the top bunk upon booking. There is also a new fridge to keep food and drinks nice and cold :)

Additional information

We hope you enjoy our van as much as we do 😊 Also if you are getting the van delivered and set up you must ensure the caravan park and site is equipped to have a big caravan there and let them know that it is a big van as we will not be responsible if hirer has booked a site that is not suitable for the caravan and we can’t put it there without damaging it.

Hiring rules

No smoking inside the van please
Please report any and all damage (its just damage, I need to fix things to keep the van looking great so please let me know if anything happens and we can work together to resolve it).
Please remove garbage, wipe down surfaces that get dirty and give the floors a sweep before I pick the van up. If the van is returned and requires excessive cleaning an additional cleaning fee will be charged to the bond of a minimum $100.00.
Please treat the vintage van as if it were your own, it will look after you. Thankyou.
No Offroad use, No unsealed road usage (unless requested and approved), No sand driving. The van is old and is made for sealed roads only.
Please drive sensibly to suit conditions, its your holiday there is no rush.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $125.00 per day
Service fee: $168.00
Delivery fee: $2.00 per km

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Unfortunately, our holiday was highly disappointing in this van. After struggling to have communication from the owner, we finally received the van, in no condition to be hired out. The van was dirty, and all cupboards were full of unnecessary and useless items to myself. We had to send 2 hours cleaning out the van, before we could pack it and leave for our holiday. Unfortunately, we experienced rain while away, much to our surprise, the van leaked in 3 different locations, from the top bunk window, out of the hatch in the ceiling and from the window above the main bed. Overall, this van was nothing like the photos, or the description. Very disappointing, and will never hire this van again.

We had a great stay in Duz Us. The van was super comfy, clean and perfect for our holiday. The van had everything we needed, with bonus camp chairs and table. From the big windows at the back we had perfect views out to the water and up and down the beach. Could have easily stayed longer. Thanks Bree.
