FULLY OFF-GRID! This van is the key to your next family adventure! Fitted with a custom 560AH lithium set up, the van will allow you to stay fully off-grid and use all appliances like you would at home! The lithium battery system will run the A/C, induction cooker, microwave, hair dryer, etc; you will feel like you are at home! Also offering 1000 watts of combined solar panels, 110L grey water tank, 2 x 95L fresh water tanks and 2 x 9kg gas bottles. Starlink unlimited satellite internet with speeds upto 100 mbps is also available at a charge. Save money on Caravan Park fees and try the National Parks, and free camp options, staying off the grid to explore Australia's vast coastlines, luscious green countryside and outback. The “Tenzing” offers all the modern comforts of home, sleeping up to 6 people with a queen bed, triple bunks and an additional bed made from the dining set. All beds offer a Sirocco fan. The bathroom has a toilet and separate shower with temperature control instant hot water system. The complete indoor kitchen contains a large fridge & freezer, stove top, grill, oven and microwave, with an L-shape lounge set up and ample storage throughout. If you must be inside you will be comfortable with a reverse cycle air conditioner, TV, DVD Player, Stereo with CD player, and even a washing machine, but why be inside when there is a weber for outdoor cooking and BBQ dinners with a full awning and outdoor lighting. The van is a large one so some towing experience is preferred, however it is easy to manage with all the modern technologies, like Electronic Stability Control, included and some basic training can be provided. Towing mirrors and brake assist available to hire if you don’t already have them. Set up is quick and easy so you can get straight into enjoying your holiday.

We may have other items you wish to borrow on your trip, please just ask and we might be able to help out! For example, we can offer a basic pantry, camp oven/cooker (required for national parks where fire needs to be contained), outdoor table & chairs; please note additional fees may apply for these items. Please ask us for our detailed provided items list and our suggested pack list.

Hiring rules

  • Requires the correct towing vehicle.
  • No hard off road travelling; unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins.
  • Hirer must return the caravan clean and tidy; cleaning fees may apply.
  • Hirer must empty toilet cassette prior to return; additional charges will apply for failure to do so.
  • No smoking in caravan or under awning area.
  • No festivals.
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
  • Follow venting instructions for cooking inside the van (or use BBQ provided outside).
  • Brake controller requirements BYO or hire from us.
  • EMERGENCY If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA.
  • DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great family van and you can be self sufficient. Have 3 kids (2 teenagers) and all were comfortable in the bunks. Everything supplied was adequate for our needs. Caravan towed smoothly and was a breeze to park an manouvre. Great van, Great hosts, Great memories made!

    We had a fantastic time with Tenzing. Easily accommodated our family of five for a trip the Flinders Ranges. Plenty of water and battery storage meant off grid camping was a breeze. Amazing customer service and flexibility provided on pick up timeframes as well!!

We are a young family who come from a hotel background of work! Seeing families holiday in hotels just made us want to get outdoors and enjoy a simpler holiday with so many options for activities. We started with a tent, then a camper trailer and now we have the family van. We enjoy a camping trip with family and friends, wine and cheese, and plenty of memories!
