Hiring rules

  • Caravan Hire Criteria & Terms
  • To ensure the safe use and proper care of our caravan, the following requirements and conditions apply:
  • Eligibility Requirements
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
  • Hirer must hold a valid, current driver’s licence.
  • Demonstrated towing experience is required.
  • Usage Conditions
  • No beach driving or offroad use is permitted under any circumstances. The caravan is to be used on sealed roads only unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • The caravan is strictly nonsmoking.
  • The caravan must not be used for any illegal activities.
  • Care & Responsibility
  • The hirer is responsible for maintaining the caravan in a clean and tidy condition throughout the hire period.
  • Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required will be at the hirer’s expense.
  • The caravan must not be sublet or used by any person not listed on the hire agreement.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • All towing must comply with road laws and towing capacity limits of the vehicle being used.
  • The hirer is responsible for ensuring the towing vehicle is suitable and roadworthy.
  • All provided equipment must be used correctly and safely.
  • Insurance & Liability
  • A security bond may be required prior to hire.
  • The hirer is liable for any costs not covered by insurance, including excess amounts in the event of a claim.
  • PickUp & Return
  • The caravan must be returned on time and in the same condition as it was collected, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.
  • Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • By proceeding with the hire, the hirer agrees to comply with all of the above terms and conditions.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
