Hiring rules
- Camplify requires all hirers to follow their Hirer Rules. These, along with the Owner Rules, set the ground rules for the Camplify community and help ensure a smooth experience for everyone. The rules cover prehire, during hire and posthire obligations. Please read and understand them carefully. Failure to comply may result in you being held fully responsible for damages. Camplify’s full Hirer Rules can be found here: https://terms.camplify.com.au/hirerrules. In addition to Camplify’s standard rules, the following Owner Rules apply to this caravan:
- 1. Festivals? Not Our Hire Scene. Sorry — this van does not attend festivals of any kind this includes BUSH DOOFS, TRANSFORMATION FESTIVALS, PSYTRANCE FESTIVALS, ANY UNDERGROUND SCENE or NICHE PARTIES. The van is GPS tracked. If it is found at a festival or festivalstyle event, the hire may be terminated immediately, the van may be removed, and no refund will be issued. A contract breach fee of $150.000 will also apply. Not sure what counts as a festival? Don’t guess — ask first.
- 2. Be Punctual, Pretty Please. Handover and collection times are prearranged and must be respected. We understand you’re on holiday.. unfortunately, we’re not. Late arrivals may substantially delay or even cancel the hire without refund. Let’s keep things running smoothly.
- 3. Return It Like You Found It. Return the van in the same clean condition it was supplied, unless you’ve selected the “Clean the Van for Me” option. Returned messy = cleaning fee of $199.00. Toilet cassette returned unemptied = a cleaning fee of $299.00. A little effort saves a bigger bill.
- 4. Van Gear & Gadgets. The van is conveniently stocked with plates, cutlery, utensils and handy extras so you don’t have to pack the kitchen sink. If items are lost, damaged or go missing, replacement costs will be charged. Treat them like your own… or better.
- 5. Smoke and Vape Free Means Smoke and Vape Free. No smoking or vaping of any kind inside the van, under the awning, or on the outdoor mat. Evidence of smoke, burns or related odour will result in cleaning and/or repair costs, with a minimum charge of $299.00. Fresh air is included in the hire. Cigarette stink is not.
- 6. Campfires Are Great… Just Not Next to the Van. Enjoy a fire, just keep it well clear of the van, awning and mat. Ash, burn marks or smoke odour/damage will result in cleaning and/or repair costs, with a minimum charge of $299.00. Fire good. Van on fire bad. Cleaning bill worse.
- 7. Pets Are Welcome. Damaged furniture Isn’t. Pets are welcome but must stay off bedding and lounge furniture. Excessive hair, damage or odour will result in cleaning and/or repair costs, with a minimum charge of $299.00. We love pets… but please keep paws on the floor and claws out of the upholstery.
- 8. Empty the Toilet Cassette at the Dump Point — Glamorous? No. Necessary? Very. Keep an eye on the cassette and empty it when needed. Overflow into the compartment is exactly as bad as it sounds. If it happens, cleaning and/or repair costs will apply, with a minimum charge of $299.00. Treat the cassette like milk in the sun — don’t leave it too long. Future you will thank present you for not ignoring the poop suitcase.
- 9. Cooking Rules. Take It Outside. Cooking meats, oils, fats or eggs inside is not permitted. Evidence of greasy cooking or residue will result in cleaning and/or repair costs, with a minimum charge of $299.00. Good news: a Weber BBQ and cookware are provided so you can cook properly outdoors.
- 10. The Awning. The electric awning is super convenient, but just like every other awning — manual or electric — it is not built for strong wind, sudden weather changes, or “she’ll be right” weather forecasting. It must be fully retracted whenever the van is unattended, even briefly, and whenever you are sleeping overnight. In simple terms: if you leave the van, close the awning. If you go to sleep, close the awning. Any damage caused while the awning is left open will be the hirer’s responsibility and may result in significant repair or replacement costs.
- 11. OffGrid Power. When offgrid (not connected to mains power) the van runs on a 12 volt, 300 amp hour lithium battery system for powering essentials only: lights, fridge, water pump and basic 12V comforts. Highdraw appliances such as hair dryers, air conditioning, microwaves, coffee machines, kettles, toasters and similar items will not operate when the van is running offgrid. They require mains power. When offgrid battery power is used, solar power recharges the battery during the day, but only when there’s sunlight. Full sun = good charge. Cloud, shade, rain or trees = reduced charge. No sun = little to no recharge. Use more power than the solar can replace and the battery may eventually go flat. Ignoring lowbattery warnings or forcing the system beyond its limits may cause damage and result in repair or replacement costs.
- A Quick Final Note This is our privately owned family van, kept in excellent condition. Most guests return it clean, tidy and exactly as they found it — and we simply ask the same of you. Follow the rules and you’ll have a relaxed, dramafree holiday… which is exactly the point.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Carmen 5.0We really enjoyed hiring this van, it is a great design and my favourite van hire so far. It is setup with everything you need, all items are of good quality too. Matt was really easy to deal with, quick to respond to messages, on the ball. We really enjoyed our experience.

Really appreciate that glad the van lived up to expectations and made the trip easy for you. Thanks as well for being great to deal with on your end, makes the whole process smooth. Youre welcome back anytime

David 5.0We had a great time in the new Van... We had the old van last Easter and this goes above and beyond. Matt was kind enough to let us be the first family to use it (including his own) and we had a wonderful stay. The van is very spacious and comes equipped for everything we needed for our 6 night stay. He even threw in bedding, which means all we needed to do was bring ourselves. Make sure you book this... It won't disappoint!

Thanks so much for the kind words Dave. It's a great upgrade from the old van we like to think its a decent step up You were the perfect crew to break it in, so Im happy it all worked out smoothly and had everything you needed. And yes, the whole point is to make it as close to just bring yourselves as possible sounds like you put that to good use. You left everything in great condition too, which never goes unnoticed. Would happily have you back anytime.
