Tucked away in the hinterland near Byron Bay, this cozy retro caravan is your little slice of vintage magic with modern luxuries. Step inside and you’re greeted with warm timber tones and cozy details, designed to feel open, welcoming and wonderfully nostalgic. Perfect for couples or small families, the caravan features bunks that effortlessly flip up into comfy bench seating by day — ideal for lounging with a coffee, reading, or planning your next surf check. By night, they fold back down into snug sleeping spaces for kids. Off grid -The van is set up for off grid living, including a fridge, gas cooktop, running water, starlink and fans. There's also airconditioning if you are connected to 240v power. -Van is fitted with an inverter enabling use of 240V appliances while off grid, however any appliance with a heating element (hairdryer, toaster, kettle etc) cannot be used -While the van is set up for off grid it relies on solar to charge the battery. In the case of poor weather or parking under shade for two or more days power may be impacted. -The battery is also charged via an anderson plug (if tow vehicle has one) Jump in for your next adventure!

-Your towing car will require ability to connect a 7 pin flat trailer plug to operate lights while driving and electric brakes. If you do not have one we can provide one -You will also need an electronic brake controller installed in your 4x4 to hire this van -Please inform us if you have limited or no towing experience as this will affect the handover we provide.

Things to know: -We will provide a handover when you hire the van -Drivers must be at least 25 years of age and have experience towing -No smoking -No off road -Ensure the campsite you book is at least 8m -Please be sure to read the terms and conditions prior to hiring this van. Be aware that any underbody damage to the van including tyres, is the responsibility of the hirer to fix. -The interior of the van must be left in the same condition it was supplied to you in unless you have opted for the "clean the van" service. Unless the outside of the van has suffered severe mud or dirt, there is no need to clean the outside -The van weight 1850kg fully loaded making it appropriate to tow from most 4x4 -Van should be returned in the state it was provided to you, benches wipes, floors swept, linens removed from bed. Please take your rubbish with you and ensure that all dishes and cutlery are cleaned and put back where you found them. Failure to do this will result in an additional $250.00 cleaning fee.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
