It will be easy to fall in love with Frankie. She is a well loved classic vintage 1966 Franklin Caravelle caravan, singing with retro beachy, boho vibes ready to tow away to your preferred destination. Once set up mornings can be enjoyed with an espresso in bed and then you can cook up a storm for your day ahead. Relax on the beach with a book or magazine, go exploring and then head back to Frankie for sunset drinks, listening to some vinyl under the stars. She has a simple and easy setup with her original canvas awning and striped frill that slides into place and is supported by her timber poles and ropes to give you an outdoor space that can be either open sided or fully enclosed. Frankie comes with vintage outdoor furniture that completes the setting. Inside she has a front-style café dining table to the left that converts to a cozy double bed and has 2 single beds/lounges to the right separated by a curtain. She has plenty of storage internally with a large wardrobe, over head cupboards, and under bed drawers. All windows except one open up for ventilation and have flyscreens including the pop-up roof vent and door. Frankie comes well equipped with all the creature comforts to make your stay memorable and relaxing. She has glassware, cocktail shaker, crockery, cutlery, coffee maker, chopping boards, serving platters, fridge, basic pantry items and appliances, portable fan, BBQ and gas bottle, awning, picnic basket, outdoor furniture, family games, books, magazines, vintage look turntable/radio and a classic record collection to complete the vintage vibe. Frankie can accommodate comfortably either a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children; or a romantic getaway for 2 adults; or a fun getaway for up to 3 adult friends. Towing mirrors must be used, I can supply if needed. You need a 7 pin trailer connection. I have an adapter to suit both 7 pin flat or round.

Hiring rules

  • • Please treat Frankie as your own, she's has been well looked after but is seasoned and needs care when she's out and about.
  • • Awning must be packed away if wind or extreme weather arises. Be gentle and take your time when sliding the awning into position.
  • • Leave her clean and tidy.
  • • Cleaning products are provided under the sink to wipe benches & sink, broom & dustpan in the cupboard to sweep the floors.
  • • Remove all rubbish and empty the fridge.
  • • Fire extinguisher is on the wall near the doorway.
  • • No smoking in or around the van.
  • • Please ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving the van unattended.
  • • All breakages, damage or lost items are to be reported immediately.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Frankie is a beautiful little caravan in very good condition. Great air flow, sleeping very comfortable, and Penny has decked it out with fantastic modern and retro comforts that made the holiday very enjoyable.
