Hiring rules

  • must be returned in clean condition, the same as at handover. Interior cleaning products are supplied with the hire. Exterior: Please wash.
  • No Pets Allowed
  • No Smoking or vaping in the van
  • Cooking to be done outdoors
  • 2wd ONLY. No off road 4 wheel driving
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises
  • All equipment to be packed away before bad weather arises
  • Linen/Bed sheets must be used on the mattress (Can be your own linen or Hire)
  • TOLL ROADS: All tolls will be charged to the Hirer.
  • EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise the Hirer how to contact NRMA. Then call me!
  • DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
  • NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
  • UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
  • LONG TRIPS 200 km's a day is included in the booking price. You will be charged $0.40 per kilometre for additional km travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within camplifys pre/post hire checklist
  • FUEL Return full of Unleaded Petrol All hires include a full tank upon departure.
  • CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Vehicle must be returned cleaned or you’ll risk a cleaning fee.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    The van is very clean and simple Setup. Drives and runs really well A few quirks for me was lack of ability to open the back door from inside the van. Also no Windows on both sides of the van only one side. I found it a bit pokey for a 6 foot tall man +2nd person as the fridge is in the Central area and one person has to climb over the other in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, we travelled and we had very bad weather and although we were snuggled up in the van water was dripping in from one of the back windows onto my pillow. The hosts were lovely and communicative and helpful. However, the dripping onto my pillow meant that we didnt continue with our trip onto the second night because of the fact it was going to be raining everywhere. The van does have everything you need in terms of cooking fridge utensils, etc.

    Sidney's van was just as described- we had a smooth pick up and the van had everything we needed to get straight on the road for a wonderful weekend trip. Sidney was so easy to communicate with and flexible with pick up and drop off times which made the whole experience seamless and stress free, we would highly reccomend the van and would love to hire it again in future :)

    We had a great 2 night stay in the van and Sidney was super helpful with recommendations where to stay and must see spots on the route we planned!
