Looking for a getaway with all the comforts of home with the van life experience, then this is the perfect motorhome for you! Torquay Nomad has a fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner stove, grill, microwave and a fridge/freezer. For a restful night’s sleep, you have a choice of three sleeping areas. A double bed over the drivers cabin which can be used as additional storage area when not being used as a bed, the dinette converts to a double bed and a third double bed can be made in the club lounge area at the back. It comes equipped with it's own house battery to provide power for lights, water pump, TV/Radio and fridge/freezer. The power system charges whilst you are driving as well as by the solar panel on the roof and also when you plug in to 240-volt power, allowing you to be completely off grid. Extend the outside awning, pull up our extra comfy camping chairs and table for alfresco dining. Everything is set up for an off-grid free camping experience or relaxing in a caravan park. This motorhome is very easy to drive with automatic transmission. It is set up with everything you need for the perfect holiday. We also have two anchor points for child car seats. We can hire you a generator for $40/day if you are going totally off grid.

  • We love animals too and love to take ours on holidays with us. Just if your pet is large or small with claws we ask that any damage is kindly repaired please. We also can only hire to pets that don't shed hair
  • Toilet Cassette must be emptied (or a $250.00 disposal fee applies) Chemical toilet liquid included at no charge for the duration of your hire
  • Grey Water tank to be emptied prior to return or a disposal fee may apply
  • Dishes, cutlery and pots to be cleaned prior to return.
  • Please immediately photograph any damage to the vehicle to assist with insurance claims. Keep details of any damage incurred where and when and other vehicles details and drivers as applicable.
  • There are 2 anchor points in the van for children car seats one of which is aft facing the other is forward facing.
  • FYI TV tuning is very hit and miss in this van. BYO backup Ipad etc.
  • Hirer must be 23 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a fabulous 9 night trip in this van - three adults, two children, and the dog! Definitely a step up from our usual tent camping, and glad of it with the winter weather.
