Monty the Millard is is the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern convenience! Originally from the 70's, he's been lovingly updated to provide a warm and inviting retreat for the whole family. All the essentials are included, so all you need to bring is your clothes, toiletries, food and drinks! SLEEPING - Oversized double bed (1950 x 1400mm) with mattress topper, separated by a privacy curtain. - 2 x bunk beds (1600 x 600mm). - The dinette can sleep a small child (1450 x 100mm) The beds will be made up ready to use. Each bed has a mattress protector, top and bottom sheets, blankets, pillow/s with protectors and pillowcases. Bath towels are provided. BYO pool/beach towels. DINING The seating area allows for comfortable meals and relaxing. The table swivels for easy access to the groovy 70's style bench seating. KITCHEN Equipped with 100 litre fridge, deep sink with hot/cold mixer tap, kettle and toaster, coffee pod machine, portable hot plate, twin butane cooker, and air fryer/mini oven/grill combo, you can prepare snacks or meals with ease. There's pots, pans and kitchen utensils; as well as cutlery, plates, bowls and a variety of drinkware. The pantry is stocked with essentials such as tea, instant coffee, coffee pods, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, sauce, foil, paper towels, cleaning products, etc. For outdoor cooking there's an external power point & bench table where you can use the supplied butane cooker, hot plate, or air fryer/grill combo. INTERIOR Reverse cycle air con takes the edge off hot or cold days, as well as a portable fan for each bed. USB charging plugs. Smoke detector and fire blanket for safety. There are games and books, and a portable kids DVD player with a collection of DVD's. STORAGE Wardrobe with hangers and drawers, bedside table, lots of overhead cupboards. Storage room under the main bed, and fold-flat baskets under the bunks for kids clothes and toys. EXTERIOR A roll-out external awning provides shade and protection from the elements. External power point & bench table provided for outdoor cooking and dining. Stylish reclining camp chairs for the adults, plus chairs to suit teens, kids, and toddlers. A bamboo coffee table completes your outdoor living area. 240v power is required (this van does NOT have solar power), as well as access to a water tap for the kitchen sink. Power cord & water hose are supplied. TOW IT YOURSELF! All you need is some towing experience, a standard towball hitch and 7 pin flat electrical plug (no electric brakes are needed). You must stay within 170km of Fern Bay NSW 2295. E.g. Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, Barrington Coast NSW areas. DELIVERY Delivery is only available on weekends and school holidays, and is subject to my availability. Please send a booking request to enquire whether delivery is available for your requested dates. Cost for delivery and set up on the first day of your hire, and pack down & collection on the last day of your hire: +$90.00 for locations within 20km of Fern Bay NSW 2295 (e.g. Stockton). +$140.00 for locations 21-40km from Fern Bay NSW 2295. (e.g. Nelson Bay, One Mile, Soldiers Point). This van does NOT have solar power, a shower or a toilet. Monty is available for photoshoots and TV ads, please contact me for further information.

Additional information

If choosing the self-tow option, Monty must stay within 170km of Fern Bay NSW 2295 (E.g. Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Port Stephens, Central Coast, Barrington Coast NSW). If you would like Monty delivered and set up at the beginning of your hire, and packed down and collected at the end of your hire, this must be requested in advance. The costs are as follows & subject to my availability: $90.00 within 20km of Fern Bay NSW 2295. $140.00 within 21-40km from Fern Bay NSW 2295. 240v power is required (there is NO solar power), and a water tap is needed for the kitchen sink. Power cord & water hose are supplied.

Hiring rules

For safety, please stay under 90km/ph. No offroading or long gravel/dirt roads. Speed humps should be taken at a walking speed.
Strictly no pets & no smoking, or additional cleaning fees will apply.
Please report all damages or concerns as soon as they occur (so replacement parts/repairs can be organised).
If strong winds or storms are forecast, the awning must be packed away (instructions are supplied).
The van should be returned in a neat & tidy condition, with dishes washed & packed away, and the bin emptied.
Cleaning is included in our service fee, however if the caravan is returned excessively dirty/muddy, an additional cleaning fee may apply.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $79.00 per day
Service fee: $85.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

My family of 2 adults, an 8 year old and a baby had the most incredible, comfortable and convenient time using Monty. The van was packed with everything you could possibly need and then some, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the cooking utensils were perfect. Louise was always quick to respond, helpful, gave a great handover and very easy to communicate with. We could not have asked for anything more from Monty, Louise and her family. We look forward to hiring Monty again very soon

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. The caravan was absolutely beautiful spotless, thoughtfully equipped, and just perfect for what I needed. It had such a warm, welcoming feel that made it instantly feel like a home away from home. Louise was an absolute pleasure to deal with kind, responsive, and genuinely caring. From start to finish, everything was seamless, and her attention to detail made all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found this gem and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
