- 🧼 Cleaning
- Please return Matilda clean and in the same condition you received her.
- A cleaning fee will apply if excessive mess is left behind.
- 🚽 Toilet
- The toilet must be emptied and cleaned before return.
- A fee will be charged if returned full or unclean.
- ⛽ Fuel
- Matilda is supplied with a full tank of UNLEADED fuel.
- Please return her full – otherwise, refuelling charges will apply.
- 🚫 Travel Restrictions
- No OffRoad Driving
- No Beach Driving
- No Extended Gravel Roads
- No Smoking inside the vehicle
- 🐾 Pets
- Pets only by prior approval.
- You must use the provided mattress protectors and sheets anywhere your pet sits or sleeps.
- 📏 Distance Allowance
- 1500km included in your hire.
- Additional distance is charged at 30c/km for vehicle maintenance.
- Longterm hire (2+ months) available at discounted rates – just ask.
- 🛠️ Damage & Incidents
- All damage must be reported immediately.
- If another party is involved, provide their name, phone number, and vehicle registration.
- 🕓 Late Returns
- Late returns without prior communication will incur a fee of double the daily rate.
- Please let us know if you’re running late — we’re reasonable, just not keen on surprises.
- Hirer must be 35 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Jane 5.0We had a wonderful holiday in Matilda from start to finish. Jason communicated in a positive and encouraging manner and after the first day of getting to know how Matilda handled on the road, and bringing our manual driving skills back to the front of our brains she was a dream to spend 2 weeks exploring from Geraldton to Exmouth and back. Plenty of living space in the back and well stocked with all we needed. Only thing different we would have done if wed realised how off grid Matilda could be was booked non powered sites in caravan parks and more off grid camping. We loved Matilda.
Jennifer 4.5It was heavy to drive as we are used to much lighter vehicles so we parked in the least crowded spaces. Otherwise, it worked really well.

Jason was amazing to deal with easy communication and took his time explaining all the in and outs of the van! Recommend to video when explaining as was great to look back on if we needed! We were first time campers so great intro to the scene. Thanks again Jason.
