The van was perfect for a few day trip down the coast. It was comfortable, clean and very fuel efficient. Jean was very easy to communicate with and would highly recommend.

Just finished a 9 night trip in Jean Charles escape van. Van was great for the 2 of us, kitchen well equipped with everything we needed and bed was comfy and kept us cosy all night. Van was easy to drive and cruise control a real blessing for those long driving days!! Thanks again JC!

Jean's Van is awesome! Was perfect for exploring NSW. Had everything we needed for our ten day trip. The kitchen is well equipped, and with a large fridge easily catered for two. Jean told us everything we needed to know before leaving and we'd recommended this van to anyone. (also very very fuel efficient)

Jean Charles was very nice and helpful. He was quick to respond to any question. The van was perfect for us : it was clean, had all we need to sleep, cook and store some food for 2 to 3 days without hassle. The second battery is nice to charge your laptop and phone. Everything was easy to use. Driving is super easy and we recommend without hesitation.

Jean Charles's Escape van was a pleasant rental experience. Pickup was easy as he lives near the train station. I was able to travel from Sydney airport. He showed me how to setup the bed, cooker, fridge and how to switch on the power inverter and gave me the keys. Jean Charles was flexible with the original pickup times as my flight was rescheduled to arrive in the PM instead of AM. Despite this challenge he was enthusiastic and welcoming and him and his partner gave all the details of the van. I needed to change my itinerary slightly and they helped me to find a good spot for my first night as I arrived after dark. The van is a Renault Kangoo and was lovely to drive. It has cruise control, reversing camera/parking sensor and a diesel engine for economical milage. I was travelling myself and am 5' 11" (180cm) and could sleep comfortably. There is a fan in the roof that can be used to extract hot air and increase comfort. There is air conditioning for when driving, a Bluetooth equipt radio and phone holder for satnav. During the trip I was able to stay at various campgrounds and had no trouble with driving, starting the engine or parking. The van has key button remote central locking for security. The condition of the van was exactly as in the pictures and everything is in good working order. I covered a considerable distance on my holiday and Jean Charles was fair with excess milage and road tolls billed at the end of the rental. Do hire this van if you are looking for a budget-friendly small camper experience. It certainly met my needs for a transportation and a place to rest and eat for my adventures in summer 2023!
