How much can I earn?

What you earn depends on your vehicle type, location, season, and how often you make it available. Easter is one of the busiest booking periods, so demand is typically higher.

Camplify charges a listing fee (7% for Premium members, 16% for Flexible members) on the daily rate, delivery and extras. Use our earnings calculator below for an estimate — but keep in mind actual earnings will vary.

How is my van protected?

All hirers are verified with licence and ID checks, and you approve every booking before it's confirmed.

On-hire damage protection is provided through MyWay Protect, a discretionary product issued by MyWay Mutual Holdings Limited. It is not insurance. Assistance is provided at the discretion of the MyWay Mutual Board.

To be eligible, you must complete the pre-hire checklist with photos on the day of handover, and the post-hire checklist within 48 hours of the vehicle's return. Without these, damage protection may not apply.

How much time does it take?

Listing your van takes about 15 minutes. For each booking, you'll need time to respond to enquiries, do the handover, and complete the pre and post-hire checklists through the app. Most owners find it straightforward once they've done their first booking.

What do I need to get started?

You'll need a registered caravan, motorhome, campervan, or camper trailer with current registration. You'll also need a valid driver's licence.

Once listed, you'll complete a short onboarding course before your first booking. The listing process takes about 15 minutes — upload photos, set your nightly price, and mark your available dates.

What if I'm not sure about a hirer?

You approve every booking request — no one gets your keys without your say-so. Every hirer has a verified profile, and you can check their reviews from other owners before deciding.

You can also set your own rules, including kilometre limits, pet policies, and where the van can travel.

How does damage protection work?

If damage occurs during a hire, report it through the app with photos as part of your post-hire checklist (within 48 hours of the vehicle's return).

Camplify will pass your report to the MyWay Mutual resolution team for review. MyWay Protect is a discretionary product — assistance is not automatic and is provided at the discretion of the MyWay Mutual Board in accordance with their constitution.

Damage discovered after the 48-hour post-hire window may require a higher member contribution. Wear and tear is not covered.
