Safety and Policies: Understanding roadside assistance

Camplify

All hires through Camplify include free nationwide roadside assistance. Here's how it works.

What's covered

Roadside assistance typically covers:

  • Mechanical breakdown

  • Flat tyres

  • Flat battery

  • Towing to the nearest appropriate repairer

How to access it

If your hirer experiences a breakdown during a hire, they should:

  1. Ensure safety — move all occupants away from potential hazards

  2. Contact emergency services (000) if required

  3. Contact you (the owner) so you can assist

  4. Call Camplify roadside assistance: 02 4075 2000, Option 4

Your responsibilities

  • Make sure your van is well-maintained to minimise the risk of breakdowns

  • Provide your hirer with the roadside assistance number and your own contact details

  • Be available to help troubleshoot by phone if issues arise

For personal use

Roadside assistance through Camplify applies during hires only. Owners should arrange their own roadside assistance (through their insurer, a motoring club, or a standalone provider) for personal use.
