Safety and Policies: How Camplify protects Owners

Camplify has built-in protections to help keep you and your van safe.

Hirer verification

Every hirer on Camplify goes through identity and licence verification. This means the person booking your van has been confirmed as a real, licensed driver.

Damage protection

All vans must have damage protection — either through MyWay Protect or BYO insurance. This ensures that in the event of damage, there's a pathway to getting your van repaired.

Secure payments

All payments are processed through Camplify. Hirer card details are secured against the booking, which means Camplify can support you in the event of damage or dispute. Payments outside the Camplify platform are not supported and breach the Terms of Service.

Roadside assistance

All hires include free nationwide roadside assistance. If your van breaks down while on hire, the hirer can call Camplify's roadside assistance line (02 4075 2000, Option 4) for help.

Accident Excess Reduction

Hirers choose an AER package when booking, which reduces their financial liability in case of damage. This means hirers have skin in the game — they're motivated to look after your van because they have a financial stake.

Community standards

Camplify's Community Rules and hirer reviews help maintain standards across the platform. Owners can review hirers, and consistently poor behaviour can result in hirer account suspension.
