How to list your van: Create your listing

Setting up your listing is straightforward, and you can do it from your phone or computer. Here's a step-by-step walkthrough.

Step 1: Sign up and start your listing

Head to camplify.com.au and create an owner account. You'll need to provide your name, email, phone number, and verify your identity. Once you're in, click "List My Van" to get started.

Step 2: Tell us about your van

You'll be asked for the basics:

• Van type — caravan, motorhome, campervan, camper trailer, or tow vehicle

• Make, model, and year — be accurate, as hirers search by these details

• Registration details — state and rego number

• Sleeping capacity — how many people can comfortably sleep in the van

• Towing requirements — if it's a caravan or camper trailer, what size tow vehicle is needed

Step 3: Upload your photos

This is where you make your listing shine. Upload at least 15 high-quality photos showing the exterior, interior, sleeping area, kitchen, bathroom, and any standout features.

Step 4: Write your title and description

Your title should be specific and appealing — include the van type, a key feature, and who it's best for. Your description should cover what the van is like, what's included, and what the experience will be like.

Step 5: Set your pricing

Set your daily rate, service fee, and any optional extras you want to offer. Check comparable listings in your area to make sure your pricing is competitive.

Step 6: Set your availability

Open your calendar for the dates you're happy to hire and block out any dates you need the van. Set your minimum hire duration and any specific hiring rules (e.g., no pets, no smoking).

Step 7: Choose your membership

Select the membership that suits you:

• Flexible (default): No upfront cost. 16% total deduction per booking (7% Camplify commission + 9% MyWay Protect contribution). Up to 40 on-hire days per membership year. Eligible hirers aged 25–84.

• Personal: Annual subscription. Includes year-round personal use damage protection plus up to 40 on-hire days. Access to Club Camplify member discounts.

• Premium: Annual subscription. Reduced 7% commission, unlimited hire days, eligible hirers aged 21–84, off-road hire eligibility, higher search ranking, and MyWay Protect protection for personal and on-hire use.

• BYO: Bring your own insurance that includes on-hire protection. No upfront cost, 12.5% commission, conditions as per your insurance policy.

Step 8: Complete verification

Once you've completed your listing, you will be prompted to verify your account. Once verified, you'll go live, and booking requests can start coming in.

You don’t have to set everything up perfectly in one go. Once you start your listing, it's easy to navigate back to it and pick up where you left off if you need more time.
