Getting started: How MyWay Protect works

MyWay Protect is Camplify's damage protection product, provided through MyWay Mutual Holdings Limited. Here's what you need to know.
What it is
MyWay Protect is a discretionary protection product — not traditional insurance. Members apply for assistance when damage occurs, and benefits are provided at the discretion of the MyWay Mutual Board in accordance with the MyWay Mutual Constitution.
What it covers
MyWay Protect can cover:
Accidental damage during a hire
Malicious damage
Theft or attempted theft
Storm, hail, flood, and fire damage
Towing and recovery costs
Travel interruption support
Protection applies up to a market value of $250,000. For full details on inclusions and exclusions, read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
How it works by membership
Flexible: Up to 40 on-hire days/year. Camplify covers the $10,000 excess on approved on-hire claims.
Personal: Year-round personal use plus up to 40 on-hire days. Camplify covers the $10,000 excess on approved on-hire claims.
Premium: Unlimited on-hire days plus personal use. Camplify covers the $10,000 excess on approved on-hire claims. Off-road hire included (if approved). Contribution is built into the annual subscription.
Making a claim
Ensure the hirer is safe
Gather information — photos, messages, details
Complete the post-hire checklist in the Owners App
Report the damage through the platform within 48 hours
Camplify passes your notification to MyWay, who manages claims under a delegated authority from the MyWay Mutual Board
Once a decision is made, MyWay will advise you promptly regarding your claim status.
Important things to know
Always complete your pre-hire and post-hire checklists — incomplete documentation can delay or prevent a claim from being approved.
Report damage within 48 hours.
MyWay Protect isn't traditional insurance. You have an automatic right to have your claim considered, but final approval is at the Board's discretion.
If your subscription contributions are overdue by 30 days or more, the Board may decline to exercise its discretion to pay your claim.
