Getting started: How much Camplify charges Owners
)
Let's break it down simply so you know exactly where your money goes.
The commission
Camplify's commission is the percentage deducted from your hire fees on each booking. This is Camplify's platform fee for providing the marketplace, payment processing, support, and marketing that brings hirers to your listing.
7% for Premium Members
16% for Flexible and Personal Members
12.5% for BYO
The MyWay Protect contribution
If you're a Flexible or Personal member, 9% of the total 16% commission per booking is deducted as your contribution to MyWay Mutual for on-hire damage protection. For Premium members, this contribution is included in your annual subscription fee, which is why your per-booking rate is just 7%.
Membership subscription fees
Flexible members pay no subscription. Personal and Premium members pay an annual subscription (or monthly instalments), which covers their MyWay Protect contribution and unlocks additional benefits. Membership fees vary based on your RV's market value.
What's NOT charged commission on
Service fee — this goes directly to you
Additional kilometre charges
Accident Excess Reduction (AER) — paid by the hirer to Camplify
Is it worth it?
The Camplify community averages $12,000+ annually, with top earners making over $50,000 per year. When you factor in the protection, roadside assistance, payment processing, and marketing that Camplify provides, most owners find the fees represent good value — especially including managing all damage claims, marketing, and secure payment systems.
