Getting started: How you'll get paid for hiring

Camplify

Getting paid through Camplify is straightforward. Here's how the payment process works, step by step.

The payment timeline

When a hirer books your van:

  1. More than 30 days out: The hirer pays a 25% deposit. The balance is due before the hire starts.

  2. Within 30 days: The hirer pays the full amount at the time of booking.

When you receive your money

Flexible and BYO members receive their full booking payment on the Tuesday after the booking is completed.

Premium members have preferable payment terms, where 50% of their earnings are paid at the commencement of the booking, and the remaining 50% are paid once the booking is completed.

All payments are processed within the regular payment run schedule.

Payments are made to the bank account you registered when creating your Camplify owner account. You can view and track all payments through the Earnings section of your Owner Dashboard.

What if a payment is delayed?

If your payment hasn't arrived by 48 hours after the expected date, check that:

  • Your bank details are correct and up to date in your account

  • There are no outstanding amounts owing to Camplify (e.g., unpaid Premium Membership fees)

  • The hire has been fully completed and post-hire checklist submitted

If everything checks out and payment is still missing, contact Camplify support.

Tracking your earnings

Your Owner Dashboard shows:

  • A summary of total earnings for the current period

  • Individual booking breakdowns (hire fees, service fee, extras, commission)

  • Payment dates and bank transfer confirmations

  • Downloadable reports for tax purposes

End-of-financial-year

Camplify provides an EOFY tax statement summarising your gross income, commission, fees, and GST (where applicable). Keep your own records of expenses — cleaning supplies, maintenance, fuel for delivery, insurance, depreciation — so you can claim deductions.
