The Outback has everything for an off the grid family getaway. All you need to pack is your clothes, food, and bedding. $60/d and, $70/d on Public holidays and Holidays, Sleeps up to 5 comfortably with one queen size and one double size beds, sofa + dining table (turns into a small bed for one small children under 5), 3 gas cooktops, tap, sink, fridge, and a small gas grill. Upgraded and set up for free camping, has a solar panel & Anderson plug charging system, 2 x 120 amp batteries, 1000 w inverted, USB ports, lights, 90 L water tank, 2 x 9 kg gas bottles, and a water pump. Pets are welcome on the floor only. The van has a diesel heater making it warm inside in Winter. Comes with all basic pantry items including plates, cutlery, cups, cooking pans & pots, cooking utensils, coffee and tea, oil, salt, pepper, etc. New easy out Fiama F45s awning, do it like at home, you don't need to set up poles and ropes, saving time. A large or small outside table and up to 4 adults / 2 children chairs can be provided at no extra charge. As been made as a toy hauler at the back for bikes or motorbikes. Roof racks are great for Kayaks. The Mosquito meshes/screens have been replaced throughout in 2024, and the off grid systems was upgraded in 2024, and new awning & new winding mechanisms in August 2025. The Outback model has a higher clearance but is not an off-roader. Unsealed or gravel roads are fine with care.

The awning is fragile to wind, and must be winded up close in windy or wild weather or not left unattended. Check the weather before and during your trip. Rain with no wind is fine.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking allow inside.
  • No pets on beds and sofas.
  • No OFF ROAD.
  • Unsealed or gravel roads are ok, with care.
  • The inside must be thoroughly cleaned when returned.
  • Report any damage straight away.
  • Hirer must be 26 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Could not fault this camper hire. Renu was a pleasure to deal with. Van was very clean and well stocked. Diesel heater, solar panels batteries , inverter and water tanks perfect for your off grid winter get away. Bike racks meat we could take the e-bikes. Will be hiring this again!
