Paul was helpful & polite. The motorhome could have done with a good looking over and testing before our hire. The motorhome is approximately 10years old so we were aware we werent hiring a new motorhome. The stand up paddle boards were a lovely touch. A month before our hire we contacted Paul to add a couple extra days to the start of our trip. Paul was happy to extend the hire for us. Paul arrived late the night before our hire (from his own trip) which meant the motorhome wasnt quite ready (requiring a wipe down of the cupboards, dishes and clean of the toilet shower area). Unfortunately the front hatch was left open and the rain had totally swamped the front bed. Paul helped to remove this and dry it as best he could in a few hours. It ended up taking 7 days to dry fully. Paul apologised, and didnt charge for the extra 2 nights we requested. He was generous in helping us with snorkeling gear and assisting my wife when she twisted her ankle. Unfortunately we had a lot of issues with the electrical system which really needs a professional auto electrician to work out what is going on and to make it safe including an RCD. Due to the electrical issues we had to jump start the car several times. The fridge struggled then eventually died (Paul paid for a replacement camping style fridge to finish off our trip), the aircon/heater only intermittently worked, the house battery wouldnt hold charge overnight even though we were plugged into power. The Sterio / reverse camera also came victim to the electrical system during our first day van orientation, which made reversing quite tricky. We spent a day at the mechanic getting the electrical system, safe and partially working which meant another day missing out on our adventures. Hotwater - for some unknown reason we only got 2 hot water showers at the start of the trip then nothing for the next 3 and a bit weeks. I dont quite understand this as I believe it runs on gas and the gas cooker was checked and working. Grey water - requires some repair to the tank and a hose connector that actually connects to the tank. Engine issue - one of the most stressful parts was a DPF fuel/engine issue that without warning would flash the engine warning light and govern the motorhome to 80km. A standard DPF burn-off wouldnt work. This was very dangerous especially around the road trains on the highway & made driving very unpredictable. Paul gave some advice of restarting the motorhome 3 times. This worked a couple of times but not always. We also had to use a fuel cleaner to help with this, which Paul paid for. We actually missed a booked caravan park due to this issue. One of the rear wheels had a faulty valve which put extra pressure on its co-tyre which went balled resulting in 2 flat tyres. The tyre repair guy mentioned some of the tyres were 5years old. Paul organised & paid for replacement tyres. WA was a stunning place to visit during our 4 week trip. If Paul fixes the issues above (he did mention all this would be fixed after our hire) Im sure youll have a lovely time.

Paul and the van were incredible from start to finish, communication was excellent with lots of tips and places to visit, the van was excellent much bigger than expected, the shower was hot, the bed as comfy and the fridge big enough for 5/7 days worth of food, los of cupboard space, and drove well. Paul even provided us with SUPs and fishing rods, plenty of bedding and towels, overall great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to hire a campervan.

Paul's Motorhome was an excellent company for a family trip. It had everything we needed and was comfortable enough for five adults to sleep in. Paul's communication was also very clear and easy, so I highly recommend hiring from him.
