Our Jayco Freedom is a great, spacious family van with room to sleep 6 inside with 1x double bed and 4x single bunks. It has a large awning for great shelter with privacy screens, and matting for under your feet. This van has air conditioning (when mains power is available) for those hot nights and a fridge with small freezer compartment for food. There is a gas/electric stove in the van and also comes with an additional double butane gas cooker for outside cooking. If hiring for 5 days or more, we do have a full annex available for an additional fee to provide additional living space.

WHAT CAR? If towing the vehicle yourself, make certain your vehicle has the towing capacity for the size/weight of this van. You should consult your vehicle's specs to clarify this. As a MINIMUM a large SUV such as a an AWD Territory or Kluger, be considered the minimum you should be using to tow this van. Better, is a large Prado sized and up 4WD. At booking you will be requested to provide the year, make and model of the tow vehicle and confirm you have a electric brake controller fitted, and satisfactory towing experience. If you arrive to collect the van in a different, unsuitable vehicle you will not be allowed to take the van. DISTANCE If you are intending to take the van further than 250 km radius from Grafton, please discuss with us. DELIVERY AVAILABLE - Within 100km of Grafton (to be discussed and agreed upon booking). Minimum cost for relocating this van to your campsite is $100, or $2.95/km - whichever is greater. BRAKES - Your tow vehicle must be fitted with an electric break controller. The van has a 7-pin flat connection.

Additional information

It is our preference that we tow and set up the van for your ease, and our peace of mind. Our van is best used at a powered camp site. It does have batteries / water tank and small fold out solar panel that can be used if there is not power available. But things such as microwave/AC will not work due to the amount of power needed. This can be discussed at booking if you think you will not have power available. Bunk beds are approx. 180cm but do have a weight limit of 60-70kgs so best suited to kids/smaller adults. We have a range of additional items that can be hired for a small fee in addition to what is in the van, such as: Standup Paddleboard (Adult) and Gazebo.

Hiring rules

DELIVERY It is our preference that we tow and set up the van for your ease, and our peace of mind.
HANDOVER You will get a comprehensive hand over when taking delivery of the van, but be sure to ask questions should something be not clear. You are also welcome to contact David at anytime for clarification on anything to do with this van.
CAMPSITE Please make sure when booking your site, that the van will fit on the site. This is the hirers responsibility.
MINIMUM STAY Minimum 2 nights (3 days) / Christmas and Easter School Holidays Minimum 5 nights (6 days) / All other school holidays Minimum 4 nights (5 days)
LONG DISTANCE We prefer the van to stay within 200km of Grafton. If you want to stay further away send us a message and we can discuss (an extra fee on top of the standard delivery fee may be charged).
OFF ROAD Not to be taken off road. Caravan can only be taken on SEALED gazetted roads and along campsite access roads.
PETS Pets will be considered, but must sleep outside.
CLEANING Van to be returned in same condition at end of hire unless hirer chooses cleaning option for additional fee. Cleaning products will be supplied to this van for your use. Excessive cleaning required and damaged equipment will incur a $250.00 fee.
COOKING Please do not cook meat or anything that is going to leave a lasting odor inside the van. An additional cleaning fee will be charged if this happens.
SMOKING Please NO smoking in, or near the van.
CAMPLIFY RULES Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions prior to hiring this van. Be aware that any underbody damage to the van, including tyres is the responsibility of the hirer to fix.
EXCESS REDUCTION All hirers must pay the 'insurance excess reduction' fee through Camplify (when it becomes available).
EMERGENCY If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise the Hirer how to contact NRMA.
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Hire Fee: From $135.00 per day
Service fee: $60.00
Delivery fee: $2.95 per km

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
