Hiring rules

• 1. GENERAL
• → 1.1 Sealed roads only. No unsealed roads, off road 4X4 tracks, sand beaches or extremely pot holed roads.
• → 1.2 Strictly no smoking or vaping in the van. If the door is open, no smoking/vaping near the van.
• → 1.3 If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe.
• → 1.4 If damage happens, you must report it immediately. The who, what, where and when will be required.
• → 1.5 A full inspection will be completed upon your return to ensure that no damage has occurred (this includes the van and also accessories provided) and everything is accounted for. To receive a full refund of your deposit, the van must be returned in the same condition in which you received it.
• 2. RETURNING THE VAN
• → 2.1 The fuel tank must be full of diesel upon returning the van
• → 2.2 The water tank must be full upon returning the van
• → 2.3 All x4 water jerries must be full upon returning the van
• → 2.4 The van must be clean upon return. This includes clean dishes, surfaces, floors, an empty bin, no leftover rubbish lying around, a clean shower, etc. Extra fees will apply if additional cleaning is needed.
• 3. KM LIMIT
• → 3.1 For under 7 days, we have a 150KM per day limit for bookings. Anything over this will be charged at $1.50 per km.
• → 3.2 For over 7 days, if you need more kms than 150/day let us know and we can work something out.
• 4. TOLLS:
• → 4.1 Make sure to pay all tolls on time. We recommend using your own eTag.
• → 4.2 If we receive an unpaid toll notice, then this will be sent on to you and extra fees will apply.
• 5. CROSSING THE VIC BORDER
• → 5.1 Without permission, the van can NOT be used to cross the Victoria state border
• → 5.2 If you would like to use the van to cross the border, please request permission to do so and provide us details of your travel plans. Approval is usually provided for most trips that are longer than 7 days.
• 6. FESTIVAL FRIENDLY:
• → 6.1 Without permission, the van can NOT be used to attend festivals.
• → 6.2 If you would like to use the van to attend a festival, please request permission to do so. Approval is usually provided for most festivals, but a few extra housekeeping rules apply.
• 7. PET FRIENDLY:
• → 7.1 Please let us know if you are planning on bringing a pet with you on the road.
• → 7.2 No WET or dirty dogs in the camper van.
• → 7.3 Do not leave your dogs unattended in the main compartment (only the front driver area)
• → 7.4 Keep dogs off the bed and couches.
• → Note 1: We take our retriever with us and she sleeps between the front seats at night, or on floor of the main area.
• → Note 2: Before bringing your pet along for the journey, please consider whether it will be practical for them. For example, if you plan to spend a long time where the animal will be alone in the Van, like hiking in national park
• 8. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation fees are as per Camplify Policy.

  Great van, Damian and Maisy sure did a good job on their conversion. Did lots of driving on our trip, easy to drive manual van. Slept well, comfy bed. Shower has a narrow entry, I am 6'3'' 92kg and got in there easily enough. Easy handover and hand back.

  Had an awesome trip in Damians van! Cooking was a breeze, the mattress was super comfortable, and there was more than enough power to do everything we wanted. Thanks mate!

  We rented the van over a very hot and humid few days. The combination of the fans and AC made it super comfortable. The spaces have been really well thought through with loads of storage inside and under the bed at the back, a great couch eating and working area (with 240V) and even a cold shower. Super comfy bed, great lighting with dimmed LEDs and a good sized fridge. Damian and Maisy were great to deal with and made all of the pick up and handover smooth and easy. Highly recommend and we'll be back!

  I loved the freedom the van gave me. Although a big van for one person, It handles really well and is quite good on fuel. Make sure you change down gears on the hills - she's heavy. I went down the Great Ocean Road for a few days and loved being able to pull over on the side of the road, open up the side door and do some work at the desk with the ocean as my view. I made use of the cooker for coffee and the sandwich maker for pretty much everything else. Loved the the spice jars too. The utensils were in excellent condition. Plenty of space for my suitcase and food. Shower was a tight fit, but nothing better than a cold shower in the morning (Wim Hof fan). Having 240Volts for laptop and phone charging was excellent for my work.

  Fantastic van and adventure. One of our favourite ever holidays. We escaped from Melbourne to Bright with our daughter 15 years old. She slept on the third bed / sofa and we used the double. The van itself was beautifully decked out with excellent storage within and underneath. We had prepared all our meals beforehand and stored in the fridge to be able to be 100% self sufficient and be off grid. We didn't spend an extra cent really the whole holiday because we were able to be self contained. During this volatile time - it was nice just to be off grid for a while. Damien and his partner were a highlight - being so generous and flexible with the hire and their detailed handover. An absolute pleasure to deal with. We are already planning our next hire of this beautiful van.
