Ava has a real homemade vibe. She was made completely by hand with recycled and repurposed materials and is perfect for a solo traveller, couple or 2 mates. Features: - Located 20 mins from the airport, 12-min walk from Central Station - A comfy sleep for 1 or 2 shorties with a way to convert for tall humans as well. (NOTE: This isn't super easy so if you are really tall maybe a different van will be easier for you) - SWB so easy to drive and park in the city - Surfboard storage plus heaps more for clothes & gear - Pull out desk you can use for an on the road office - Solar system with plenty of juice to run the fridge, fans, lights, plus an inverter to charge phones, laptops, cameras batteries which means you don't always need to stay at campgrounds - 25L water tank with foot pump tap and removable waste water basin - 50L fridge - Cosy kitchen with many hidden countertops and all the facilities you need to make food - Camping table & chairs - Coffee & tea provided - Sheets & towel included for $10 at request Please return the van clean and tidy as it came otherwise a $60 cleaning fee will be applied which will cover the carwash and an hour of my time. Anything missing or broken will be replaced at your cost.

Hiring rules

EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call me!
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
LONG TRIPS Up to 400 km's per day. Beyond that, you will be charged $1.00 per 10 km at the completion of the trip from your bond.
FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
HEIGHT Too tall for most carparks. Make sure to check height before entering them!
CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
Leave your shoes on the foot well! Keep Ava nice and tidy for yourself and others. Please do not smoke in her and have a wicked adventure.
IMPORTANT: please ensure to switch off gas bottle and burn off extra gas after each use.
Before Returning:
Empty bin and fridge
Clean used dishes and utensils
Make sure lights and propane are switched off

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $80.00 per day
Service fee: $30.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Hi, I'm Div. I'm a rock climber, free diver and travelling film maker. I converted Ava myself from recycled and repurposed materials and am looking to build more vans in the future. Right now I'm sailing the Coral Sea to film marine wildlife such as whales, sharks and turtles. My good friend and housemate Drew (also an avid climber and van builder) will be taking bookings for me while I'm away. He's much better at this stuff than me anyway so you won't be disappointed.
