Better than that, once you get to your destination, you can sit back and relax knowing all your camping equipment is ready and you have a comfy bed to rest up in. Hiring rules

  • Doti is immaculate, we ask that you return her just they way she was passed over to you. We also ask that you keep her under 90km/h and stay away from the freeway. Although fully restored, and fanatically serviced to ensure the reliability of our old girl, she was still built in 1975 and needs to be looked after, so we ask you to plan a trip that stays within 100km of her home (special conditions and approval apply for trips outside of this area). We also provide for a 100km/day allowance.(additional fees apply for additional distance traveled).
  • Please note we are located in Newcastle, so a quick 2 hour train ride north of Sydney will get you safely to our pick up location.
  • NOTE for long weekend bookings a minimum of 4 day hire is required
  • The best thing about beryl is that were located in Hunter Valley we have vineyards, walking and cycling trails, beaches, lakes and great food! Want more info? visit www.huntervalleykombi.com
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Really nicely maintained van, true to the Kombi experience! My son and I really enjoyed our coastal trip in Dotti, and the nods and waves from people who admired the van as we cruised around. Nick (the owner) was very friendly and reasonable right through the process. Definitely recommended, just be prepared to take your time and enjoy the charm of it.

    Wow, what an amazing weekend. Cruising in a classic 1975 Kombi around Lake Macquarie brought back so many great memories and made many more wonderful new ones. Doti goes great, she is exactly as advertised, the bed is incredibly comfy. Nick is easy to deal with and very informative. I would certainly recommend hiring Doti to anyone with hankering to experience the gentile pace of 1970s camper life.
