Additional information

Pick-up and drop-off take place in central Launceston, with standard check-in/out between 9am and 6pm. If you need times outside this window, just ask — a $50.00/hr fee applies. Henry is not a 4x4 and must be driven only on sealed/tarmac roads. No off-road, beach or extended gravel driving please! We have a no animal and no parties policy to keep the van clean, safe and allergy-friendly for all guests. Airport pickup is available (fees vary seasonally), so please message us if you need this arranged.

Hiring rules

• This is a strictly NONSMOKING van in the sleeping part and in the driving cab.
• NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads
• SERVICE FEE $80.00: Compulsory for amenities and incidentals (cleaning products, windscreen liquid etc), bed linen change, car wash etc.
• Bed linen is included, bath towels are available at extra cost ($20.00). Please let us know!
• The van will have a full tank (diesel), please return full. Surcharge $60.00 on top of the fuel cost.
• 200 km a day are included in the booking price. Additional 30c per kilometre for extra kms travelled over the total allowance will be charged at the end of the booking. This is calculated within Camplify's pre/post hire checklist.
• In case of ROAD EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately and give us a call.
• If you are involved in a CAR ACCIDENT get off the road, if necessary, leave the vehicle and stay in safe distance, then call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise you how to contact NRMA. Then call us!
• If any damage occurs to the van or to the included items during your rental, please report to us immediately be ready to provide details.
• Handover in Launceston is free of charge. If you wish us to deliver the van to the airport there's a fee of $100.00 each way (cash or transfer). Our standard checkin/out times apply (see below).
• NB: Uber from the airport is around $50.00, taxi around $75.00.
• If you would like to rent the van from Hobart airport the fee is $300.00 one way (cash or transfer). For Burnie or Devonport or any other location in Tasmania, please contact us before the rental.
• Standard checkin/out time is between 9am and 6pm, for earlier checkins/later checkouts, please contact us. Outside these hours $50.00/hr.
• NO ANIMALS IN THE VAN PLEASE AND PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED!

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  I loved my time traveling in the van. :) Some of the key highlights include the folding bed, which kept the space nice and clean. It was super easy to fold up and turn into seats, and the seats and cushions were super comfy too. It also had a diesel heater, which came in handy in places like Cradle Mountain. So I would highly recommend it.

  We had an amazing time in the Van. It was such a beautiful little home and we loved that it transformed from a spacious living area into a cozy bed to suit whatever we wanted. It came equipped with everything we could think off. Our favourite part was pulling up to beautiful views and having a drink looking out the back in the comfy seats. Anna & Alex were both wonderful to communicate with. They were so great and friendly with lots of helpful tips and so accomodating in assisting us with anything that popped up throughout the trip. We could not recommend Anna, Alex, and Henry the Wombat chaser any more highly!! :)

  I had a fantastic holiday using this van. It was clean, comfortable, warm and had everything I needed. The handover was very thorough and I felt well equipped to tackle my first campervan trip solo.
