Andy was the perfect partner for my long weekend away.
This great van was so easy to drive and very cruisey. Super comfortable and cosy
Faith is an amazing host.
She provided complimentary essentials and a little something extra for a special treat.
I will definitely be rebooking my next trip with Faith for one of her mobile homes.
I cannot recommend her more highly.

The van was incredible. Faith went to a lot of trouble to make sure it had all the bells and whistles.

There were a lot of messages from Faith initially which made us aware that this was going to be micro-managed van hire.

Unfortunately we were not aware of GPS tracking and we took it to a music festival. We received multiple anxiety inducing messages on the Friday to say we needed to call Faith immediately because we did not declare we were taking it there. This should not be an issue as we paid for the van and found it to violate our privacy provisions. As a camplify member loaning a vehicle- I think there should not be GPS tracking as it felt like a privacy provision breach.

However, once speaking to Faith, she was kind enough to give the benefit of the doubt and said she was worries about the van (its her livelihood apparently) and said she would not spoil our weekend. I thanked her for understanding our position (very hard to hire a van declaring its for a music festival). I assured her it would not come back with a scratch. Famous last words...

We drove the van all the way back from country Meredith to inner city melbourne. I was incredibly anxious driving the van after being monitored and bombarded by Faith. I pulled into my apartment driveway, only to miss a parked car on the left in the street as I turned. It scraped the side of the van and wiped out at least two parts of the parked car. Bad luck or karma- either way, the van and car involved will be repaired and paid for. We thoroughly cleaned the interior and dusted and mopped the floor inside. I cant tell you how devastated I was to return the van to Faith after she had said we could continue our weekend.

Understandably Faith was upset and ropable upon returning the vehicle. I apologised but there was no room for Faith to listen to reason around the incident due to her rage. She asked us to leave.

From a perspective of a person hiring a van- I think Faith was fair at times but also very micro-managing and intense-for example- the morning of return- I got messages from her in the morning telling me what petrol station to go to and to make sure I put water in the van then text her when I am there. We also got texts from her to say we were over the speed limit on the freeway. This felt like spying.

I also think that as a van lender, Faith needs to accept that insurance covers accidents- instead she decided to add the fact we were at an undeclared location to a complete separate human error car accident and come to a an unreasonable conclusion.

The point is that insurance covers accidents and it was lucky no one was hurt.

Instead, she ranted about it being her livelihood and how she had someone coming from Prague to hire the van. How important.

Im sorry the incident impacts you being able to hire it out to other people Faith, however it was a genuine car accident aside from not declaring the location. I hope the van hiring continues to bring you joy in the future as it appears to now.

I can only speak highly of Faith and her van.
She's been a pleasure to deal with, patient and flexible.
Cannot fault her.
The van went trouble free and the family has made some great memories for our first van experience.
Very comfortable sleeps.

The only bad things that I have experienced were the unforgiving flies on the free camp site, probably a netted gazebo/awning sealed to the van would solve the problem.
Wouldn't bother with paid camp site due the owner attitude and gates closing time.
Be warned they have daytime business hours that they don't advertise.
If you show up 1 minutes past 4pm-6pm they will charge peak rate during off peak season while scolding/patronizing you.
You are better off going to a motel at midnight while been properly greeted.

On hindsight I would have brought more potable water or a bunch of disposable plates/cutlery sealed in a bag to wash at journey end as washing the dishes takes up all the water and takes a lot of time.
Making the downstairs bed can be irritating if you have to make it twice a day.
The upstairs bed can be folded saving the hassle.

Once again thank you Faith for the opportunity to experience van life, I think the whole family is converted :-)
Happy trailers...

Andy the campervan was beautifully equipped with everything. We brought our own doona and pillows.. We are not campers so unfortunately we did not know how to set up the bed, we made do even though Faith assisted with step by step instructions .. Faith allowed us to pick up earlier, as we were heading to a wedding in country... her professionalism in assisting me thru the online booking made it easier.. A warm, caring person, we took great care of Andy as well. Thankyou Faith you were brilliant and so was reliable Andy! . We dropped off and she was available with to bringing Andy home earlier.. Thankyou again Faith for your reliability and flexibility. I would highly recommend Faith and the Campervan Andy! .

Faith was very easy to deal with. Efficent, straight forward, flexible, and communicative. The van was as it said it would be and had all that was needed for living, cooking, driving.
The top bed was difficult to pull out and make each night with many options to get fingers caught. All the equipment was modern and worked well. The whole thing was cosy and and a good adventure. Thanks Faith.
