The Wandering Van is a much loved member of our family and we invite you to enjoy her as well. She was thoughtfully converted by two enterprising young men and has been refurbished and improved by us to be both a stylish and practical home on wheels. The seating converts to a queen size bed, it has a new 80L Bushman fridge/ freezer and 24" TV with Apple HDMI lead. Cooking can be done inside on the gas cooktop, or on the slide out Weber BBQ. There is a Thule double bike rack, a wind out awning and solar power if needed to complete your adventure. The Wandering Van is a mid size vehicle making it very easy to drive and manoeuvre. It does not have a shower or toilet in the van.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $155.00 per day
Service fee: $120.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We recently had the pleasure of booking the wandering van for an Aussie-style getaway for a few days, and it was a fantastic experience! The campervan was in excellent conditionclean, comfortable, and equipped with everything two people would need for a memorable trip and then some. The cherry on the cake was the small nuances like some artificial plants, playing cards, a first aid kit, binoculars, etc that were part of the van. Margo's communication was exceptional, making the booking process smooth and ensuring we had all the necessary information. I highly recommend this campervan and appreciate the owner's attentiveness. Looking forward to booking again in the future!

The Wandering Van had plenty of thoughtful design choices and Margo left lots of handy conveniences to make it feel self-sufficient for all sorts of adventures. It handled like a beast (alongside great fuel economy), had plenty of juice in the solar panel for us and you could tell that it had that 'lived in' feel from years of road trips in the past. Can't rate this thing highly enough and Margo's communication has been excellent.
