Eddy is great and is the perfect set up for road trips and camping. Very comfortable to drive and has all the mod cons to make life on the road pleasurable. All you need to do is pack your clothes, fill up the pantry, the fridge and off you go.

Pickup time is from 10am and drop off time is at 3pm. There is NO SMOKING inside the van. There is a daily kilometer allowance at 200 km. Excess kms will be charged at 0.25 cents per litre. The van will have a full tank of DIESEL on pick up. The water tank will be full and Eddy will be fully charged. This will also be expected on return of van. Additional charges will be charged depending on which service has not been complied with. NO DRIVING ON UNSEALED ROADS. There is no roadside assistance if vehicle is driven off sealed roads. Toilet MUST BE EMPTIED on return. Maximum of 2 adults no children.

Hiring rules

  • Respect and cleanliness is very much appreciated. Eddy needs to be very well looked after and cared for.
  • 200 km per day is the allowable distance.
  • No smoking inside van.
  • Toilet must be clean and emptied on return.
  • Maximum of 2 adults, no children.
  • Hirer must be 70 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    This is a great van Clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. I loved I could hang clothes in the little wardrobe. Lots of cupboard space. Enjoyed our trip away .

    We hired Eddy for two weeks and thoroughly loved every moment of our travels. The van is well equipped, and suits two people comfortably. The bed is one of the best we've ever slept on, even better than our very expensive matters at home! The van is a comfortable to drive with a good turning circle. We drove 2000kms and found the fuel consumption to be very economical. We loved Eddy so much that we didn't want to return her/him. Thank you Christine for sharing Eddy with us.
