TGM is comfortable, reliable, easy to drive and quick to set-up. She’s not brand-spanking new, but has everything needed for a fun get-away. Keep it simple! Pop-top gives headroom, a storage shelf, and zip-open windows. All basics covered and some nice extras - like a comfie topper mattress, reading lights and fans, and a hot water tank, with shower hose. Can be set up as two bench seats & table, or single beds, as an alternative to the queen size bed. There’s a microwave to use at powered sites. Gas stove included for cooking outside. Picnic table & chairs and a camp hammock complete the outdoor set-up. Have a cuppa or chill your drinks in the fridge & sit under the awning & enjoy the view. You wont regret it!

NO off road - she is not a 4WD and doesn’t have a high clearance! House battery will last about 3-4 days of stationary camping, depending on your usage. Longer stationary camping hires should consider hiring the solar panel. If you are driving and camping each day or two - no problems! The house battery will recharge with driving. Water tank will last about 3 days depending on your usage. Extra 25L water container can be added to the hire. EXCESS KMs CHARGE: Please read this information carefully before making your booking request. * There is a 200km/day allowance for the hire - totalled at the end of the hire period. EG : 5 days = 1,000kms. * If your kms exceed 200/day you will be charged at a rate of 75c/km for each excess km. * Please note that there is also a 2,000km limit overall covered in the hire. * Any distance over 2,000 kms will be charged at a rate of 75c/km regardless of the length of the hire.

Hiring rules

  • NO SMOKING in the van.
  • No offroad
  • No dirt roads , without discussion with the owners.
  • NO PETS
  • $50.00 additional cleaning fee if the van is returned in a dirty state.
  • ***No cooking inside the van.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    I loved this little van! It was perfect for me for camping at a Folk Festival. It drives well and has a very comfortable bed. I will certainly use it again in the future.

    A solid little van which took me to some beautiful places! Compact to drive with extra height when you need it from the pop top roof. Big, comfy bed with good privacy curtains. Lots of storage in the cupboards for a longer trip and all the bits and bobs you need. Georgina was easy to communicate with and no issues at all!

    I had a great little holiday in The Green Machine. Easy to drive. Comfortable bed. Solar panels and fridge both worked well. I really appreciated the privacy curtains! I recommend TGM for a great getaway. Thanks Georgina
