Feel free to contact us to discuss your journey so we can assist you in getting it right. We can deliver the van depending on location. We love this van and every day spent with it was a day of joy and fun. It has a couple of scratches, but generally in a very good condition.

Hiring rules

• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call me!
• DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/
• NO SMOKING
• UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
• LONG TRIPS 200 km's a day is included in the booking price. You will be charged 75c per kilometre for additional km travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within camplifys pre/post hire checklist
• FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
• COOKING GAS Return FULL refilled from petrol stations or BCF
• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
• Have fun

  Absolutely loved taking Gentle Jean out for a few days, shes such a lovely van and felt like a real home away from home. She was so much fun to drive around the Margaret river area, super easy to park and pop the roof up. Was genuinely sad about having to give her back! Pirmin was absolutely fantastic throughout, he was super flexible with both picking up the van and dropping her off. He was really informative when I picked her up and let me know all of her little tips and tricks. Thank you so much Pirmin, I had the best time with Gentle Jean & hope one day to take her out again!

  I requested the van last minute because my other van option fell through, and I am very grateful that Pirmin could meet me swiftly the next day and accommodate me on short notice. I was able to have the holiday of the lifetime in WA, the van runs reliably well and had all the essentials for my outback adventure. It is also much roomier than I thought from the photos, but small enough to park anywhere comfortably. Once you speed up it is a bit loud but I had music so it wasn't an issue. Definitely a cruiser, can't speed up, but nonetheless great for a relaxed nature holiday.

  We had an amazing week with Gentle Jean - would 100% book to take her out again. There is loads of space and the van comes fully kitted out, meaning we didn't need to bring much with us. Pirmin is absolutely lovely and provided us with everything we needed for the trip. He was flexible with our pick up and drop off, and explained everything across the van to ensure the trip went smoothly. The van is exactly as described (not a racer but a steady companion) - the gear box is a bit sticky and engine gets a bit loud when you go quicker, but nothing that should stop anyone from taking the van out for a trip. The van was absolutely amazing and made our WA trip incredible - huge thanks to Pirmin!

  We had an awesome week with gentle Jean. The car is old and not the fastest and yes it is a little loud, but if you do not plan to go too far, this is a great choice. The bed is super comfortable, everything works perfectly and the communication with Pirmin was extraordinary good. We had a great experience!

  We adored our little adventure in the van. The bed was so much bigger than we expected, and the whole van was nice and roomy. The blinds really blocked out the light, and she was a dream to drive. We'd definitely hire her again!
