Compact and easy to drive. John is completely off grid including 180AH of lithium battery, 300w of solar permanently mounted on the roof, a comfy double mattress with pillow topper, 30L drawer fridge under the bed to keep those drinks and food icy cold, awning, 2 camp chairs, table, 2 kings drawers in the rear, plates, cups, cutlery, utensils, frypan, saucepan, kettle, plenty of 12v lighter & usb outlets alone with wireless chargers on either side of the mattress.

  • John is not 4WD and is not permitted for use on unsealed roads. No Smoking inside or within 3m if the van is open. Fee of $99.00 to remove the smell will apply if renters break this rule.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    My second week with John, and once again a great experience. We had a wonderful cosy trip surfing everyday and reading books. Would highly reccomend!

    Ive had the best week in this van, it was exactly what I needed and perfect for my solo holiday! Shaun was wonderful took the time to explain everything to me and was just overall fantastic ! Thank you so much

    We enjoyed our trip away. Shaun's handover was comprehensive. The van was too small for our needs but that was part of the experience as we are planning to buy a campervan in the future. We had a few technical difficulties with the doors, and the suspension was a bit rough. Overall, we are happy with the experience.

    I could not have had a better holiday in John, it was fully equipped with everything you need to find a peaceful camp spot and check out for a while . A real dream to drive, and just so comfortable. Shaun was an absolute delight to deal with and I will be a repeat customer.

    Shaun was great at communicating, van was comfy & had all you need for a weekend away. Great for single person. Only downfall would be lack of space for storing clothing or food. I had to store all my belongings on the front seat.

Early 40's Glamper - My days of roughing it in a tent and a foam or air mattress are over. Bazza, Juno and John to the rescue. 3 varying sized vans depending on your exact needs
