Hiring rules

• Just a quick heads up – our bookings are open to drivers aged 25 and above who feel at home behind the wheel of a manual gearbox. 🚗✨ Before we rev up the excitement, could you please drop us a friendly intro confirming that you meet these cool criteria? Thanks a bunch!
• The Van must be returned in the same condition as taken. I always ensure the van is clean when picked up. Please look after the van and it will serve you perfectly for your trip. I ensure my van is comfortable, clean and reliable for you.
• This involves garbage being removed, dirty benchtops wiped down and all equipment used to be stored correctly and cleaned. If there is visible dirt on the exterior, please give the van a hose down.
• If the van is returned with excessive cleaning required, a cleaning fee of $100.00 minimum will apply.
• If the driver is younger than 25 years of age contact prior to booking as special excess rates apply.
• Pick up and Drop off times can be flexible and need to be discussed.
• Kms traveled is restricted per day booked to 200ks. (E.g 5 days = 1000ks) Additional kms traveled will be charged at $1.00/k at the completion of the booking.
• No smoking inside the van.
• No offroad driving or unsealed roads. AN OFFROAD DRIVING FEE $200.00 WILL APPLY IF VAN WAS TAKEN OFF A SEALED ROAD.
• ⛽ FUEL Return full of PETROL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• 🆘 EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify/Roadside/myself.

  We had a fabulous holiday in this van, it was easy to drive , spacious and comfortable. It just needed to be a little better equipped on the inside.

  THEY FORGOT TO BUY US DINNER BEFORE THEY FUCKED US!! I will start by saying that the van was excellent and we did love using it. However we did end up renting another van later that was cheaper with a better setup. We were in conversation (5 days before we needed to return the van) to extend the hire dates. All had seemingly been agreed on but we were yet to confirm with a payment. On the last day (when we would have had to return the van) we sent an extension and they cancelled our request because apparently it was wrong, then they resent the exact same extension request which we tried to fill in but were unsuccessful as the app told us the dates were unavailable. We went out of service for 2 hours and let them know, thinking we were on the same page about extending, as we were told it was all fine. (We also became aware there was an AirTag in the van and they would have known where we were so believed that if anything was to change they would have given us ample notice knowing how far away we were). When we came back to service we had a message saying they had accepted a new customer to have the van and that we needed to return the van that night or early the next morning (it was already 7pm and we were on Bruny island: 4 hrs away)!!! . We had to find somewhere to live and clean the van and return it in one day! Dropped off the van and the coward that was in communication with us didnt meet us at the door and instead sent his wife to do his work! They did give us a discounted rate for the last night which was nice but didnt really cover the inconvenience we incurred and loss of time to enjoy our trip, not to mention the financial expense of the whole debacle. Sadly this left a sour taste in our mouth.

  Unplugged campervan was the perfect addition for our trip around Tassie. Art was thorough with the handover and gave us helpful tips for our trip. The van is comfy, reliable & equipped with everything we needed. Thank you!!

  We really enjoyed our Tassie trip and the camper van was perfect for the two of us. Art always responded promptly to any communication prior to our travels and covered every possible detail on the initial handover. The camper was clean, comfortable and had all the essential items we needed in respect to cooking and bedding. Access to a surfboard was an added bonus.
