Phoebe is a simple old Hiace with a retro vibe. It has all the modern creature comforts you need while driving and kicking back. Pick-up is in the Newcastle area/ Tighes Hill. She's Ideal for 1 or 2 people to travel and sleep with a third seatbelt for an extra to come along on day trips or put a swag in the back so they can come along the whole time. There is enough space to escape the elements between the lift-up back door and the awning. Plenty of ventilation is provided by fly screens on both rear windows and a magnetic fly screen that will be included for the back door. Features - 30L draw fridge - Slide out kitchen bench - Storage space - USB and 12v plug charging ports (cables not included) - Touch screen stereo - AC upfront - Awning -Single burner gas cooker A taxi costs about $70 from Newcastle Airport to drop off one way to my location in Tighes Hill. If available, I can pick up and drop off hirers from Newcastle airport for a round trip of $70. (I must be dropped off at home; it's around a 25-minute drive). Please get in touch with me first to see if I am able to do so, as I work from 7:00-3:00. Phoebe is ready for 25/26 Summer! She has just come back from the mechanic after a major service and some repairs to make sure you'll have a trouble free trip this summer! Hiring rules

  • 1. No offroad driving/ beach driving
  • 2. Before the trip begins, driving on gravel and unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing (text, email, Camplify messages).
  • 3. No smoking
  • 4. Awning put away if high winds predicted
  • 5. Vehicle returned clean or risk cleaning fee
  • 6. All damage must be reported ASAP. Info needed: Who, what, where
  • 7. Pull over if the engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, and call Camplify on 0240752000. They will advise you on how to contact roadside assistance or other help. Then call me on 0434513034.
  • 8. Make sure to have a great time and leave a review!
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We rented this van from Harrison and had a great experience. Its charming, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need when living in a van. It truly felt like a cozy little home on wheels. The only small thing that could make it even better would be having a wind deflector so you can get some fresh air without too much draft. Highly recommended, we would definitely rent from Harrison again!

    This was our first use of Camplify for a quiet adventure for me and my daughter! Harry made everything so simple and hassle free. The van was set up really well, simple handovers, and he was incredibly communicative throughout. Couldn't have had a better experience. We had a very minor accident towards the end of the booking and again, Harry was a pleasure to deal with and made everything easy. Would definitely recommend him and Phoebe again. As a van, Phoebe is exactly as presented - not the newest van in the world, but runs like a charm, well loved, reliable, and really well fitted out! Our only regret is forgetting to leave a memento in the car like many other travellers before us have! We'll just have to rent her again!

    Had such a great trip with Phoebe! Everything ran smoothly. Harry was very quick to respond and happy to answer any questions and explained everything before I left. The solar power means you dont need a hookup site for the fridge and can charge phones too. There are no curtains so be ready to wake up with the sun! Would definitely recommend - Thank you!
