Welcome to Get Hooked Caravan Hire. Hook up, hit the open road and wind down for a few days or a longer touring adventure, your trip will have all the comforts with our modern Jayco Journey Outback. Perfect for getaways for couples or young families. The van includes an island queen size bed, dining table converts into a bed. Spacious interior with full en-suite bathroom, fridge and freezer, TV, cafe shaped dinette, washing machine and microwave. Full inventory will be made available on approval of booking to help organise your travels. Special towing information

No Off Road Permitted, unless authorised by owners. Hirer must have sufficient towing experience and knowledgeable of reversing a caravan. Towing mirrors must be used and can be provided for free. Tow vehicle must have an grey anderson plug to power the fridge whilst towing. Electric brake controller is required for towing this caravan. If your vehicle is not fitted with suitable brake controller please make sure you select this option when booking / $110 per hire and download the ELECBRAKES app on your smartphone prior to collecting van. No Grey Water Tank.

Hiring rules

  • Minimum 4 day hire / school holidays and peak season min 7 day hire.
  • Hirer must provide detail of towing vehicle (incl. registration number), travel itinerary plans and towing experience.
  • Hirer must clean (inside and outside) and remove all rubbish before returning or risk fee of $330.00.
  • Hirer must empty and clean toilet cassette before returning caravan or risk fee of $220.00.
  • No Off Road Permitted unless authorised by owner.
  • No Pets unless authorised by owner
  • No Smoking inside or around van.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We hired the caravan to take it on a 3 week road trip to the AFL gather round in South Australia. Easy to tow and hook up with the electric brakes. Great size for 3 (we have a 3 year old) wish we had organised a foam mattress to go on the cushions as very hard. Excellent storage, great sized fridge and easy to use cooking Not suited to free camping or sites without power

    Great Van, easy to tow and set up. Had all the equipment needed for a happy holiday. The Electric awning was really great. A few more manuals on how things worked would have been good to remind us what we had been told and bit more cleaning stuff would have been good to ensure the van was really clean before returning

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this van, it was luxurious very neat clean & tidy, lovely bed fully equipped kitchen, shower toilet. Renae & Pete were Extremely accommodating & helpful. Highly recommended this is a top notch caravan with great owners to liaise with. Thank you Rachel & Scott :)
