The shortest and lightest compact van but is surprisingly spacious inside with separate shower and toilet. The Gecko is fully equipped with kitchenette, spacious dining area and plenty of storage. Easy to tow its has everything you would find in a much larger van. Has a fold out queen size bed up front which is easily setup.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking permitted inside van, $300.00 fee for cleaning
  • Pets welcome

  • deposit to be paid within 48 hrs of booking approval
  • return the van in the same clean state it was given (cleaning items provided, $200.00 fees apply if exceedingly dirty)
  • return the van with an empty toilet cassette ($350.00 fee applies if returned full)
  • bbq must be returned in a clean condition, grease tray emptied and plates clean ($50.00 fee applies if not done )
  • Awning/Annex MUST be put away if you are leaving the van unattended or if very windy conditions arise
  • Caravan MUST be locked if left unattended
  • Any damage or accidents must be reported ASAP via text msg with a photo
  • Free Camping/Off grid must be approved prior to booking begins. Any damage to batteries as a result of unauthorised free camping will be logged as damage
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Van ideal for short stay in either free camping or caravan park. Fully self contained and all in good working order.

    Allison & Andrew were great! Had a great experience, unfortunately we lost reception so we had to wing a few things but overall couldnt recommend higher.
