Family Campervan, or two couples with 4 Berth (Aircon + Free Airport Pickup) The “Famba” is a fully equipped campervan, perfect for exploring Far North Queensland with family or friends. Built on a Toyota HiAce Commuter, it’s easy to drive, fresh, clean, and designed for both comfort and off-grid travel. Inside, you'll find two queen beds (sleeps 4), both fitted with hospital-grade mattresses and mattress protectors for a comfortable night’s sleep. The van features full blackout curtains for privacy and air conditioning for sleeping when connected to power, making it ideal for warm tropical nights. The compact kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, gas burner stove, cooking utensils, and a basic pantry. There’s a roll-out side awning, camp table and chairs, internal lighting, and plenty of USB and 12V charging outlets. DC-to-DC charging while driving, and mains power when plugged in. Very easy to drive with good aircon in the cab and a reverse camera. The van is clean, fresh, and set up to feel comfortable and practical for longer trips. ✈️ PICK UP Free airport pickup can be arranged—please message Petra for availability. Hiring rules

  • The hiring radius is 250kms in any direction from Cairns, which encompasses Port Douglas, Mossman, Daintree, Cape Tribulation, the Atherton Tablelands, Babinda, Innisfail, Mission Beach & Cardwell.
  • Comes with a full tank of diesel. Please ensure she if full of diesel upon return to avoid fees and charges.
  • Have Fun and relax!
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We rented this van for two days and the experience was excellent from start to finish! From the very first moments on the road, the driving felt really enjoyable: smooth, light, and very easy to handle, even if youre not used to driving vans. It made the whole trip feel relaxed and stress-free, which is exactly what you want when traveling. The vehicle is modern, very well maintained, and exactly as described. Inside, the layout is thoughtfully designed: spacious, functional, and fully equipped with everything you need to cook (utensils, an efficient fridge, etc.). Its easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. The bed is very comfortable, and everything was clean and well organized when we arrived, which made a big difference. Even over a short stay, you can clearly tell that the van is perfectly designed for longer trips and comfortable travel. It really made us want to stay on the road longer. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!
