Purpose built for comfort and affordable travel; ‘Stan the Van’ is the ideal vehicle for your upcoming road trip around Tasmania. Whatever the weather, Stan comes complete with fresh linens, a new doona and microfibre pillows/mattress to keep you warm. While Stan sleeps 2, he seats 3, which is why we have also included extra camping supplies including a tent, sleeping mat, and sleeping bag/liner. Stan has a large awning attached to provide shade or shelter, a camp shower, camp chairs and table, and a small camp kitchen with all the kitchen basics. Stan’s ‘luxuries’ include an in-built fridge, USB coffee-maker, and 24/7 roadside assist. Designed with the adventurous traveller in mind, Stan has roof racks for your surfboard/kayak, fishing roads and tackle box as well as multiple charging ports to allow you to go off grid for days at a time. Stan the Van can be collected from Hobart Airport or Lenah Valley – a suburb 10 minute drive from Hobart’s CBD.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a great experience renting Stan the Van from Gordon. From the beginning, communication was clear and easy. Gordon took the time to explain everything about the van in detail, which made us feel confident and comfortable before starting our trip. Stan the Van was well maintained, reliable, and equipped with everything we needed. It was easy to drive and perfect for exploring Tasmania. At handover, Gordon was incredibly kind and genuinely interested in our trip. He asked about where we had been and made the whole return process smooth and stress-free. We truly appreciated his professionalism and friendly attitude. We would definitely recommend Stan the Van to anyone looking for a great campervan experience. Thank you again, Gordon!

    Stan was great for our little trip in Tasmania came with everything that was needed and the bed is one of the most comfortable Ive used in a campervan. Gordons communication was great and he was super accommodating in terms of collection and drop off! Would definitely recommend Stan for any future rentals visiting the area.

    We had the most amazing holiday in Stan!! Gordon was an absolute legend and made things really easy for us with getting the van to us/having everything set up. Everything in the van was clean and tidy + came with everything we needed for a trip around Tas! We did 8 days and literally had no complaints about the setup. Couldnt recommend enough. Definitely going to consider booking again for our next trip back! Thanks again Gordon.
