Meet Chase – cos his always Chasing us! Chase is our much-loved 2007 Jayco Expanda — older, reliable and ready for simple, comfortable adventures. He’s not flashy, but he’s light weight, spacious and easy to use, making him perfect for families, couples or anyone wanting an affordable, no-fuss getaway. Inside, Chase sleeps 4–5, with two fold-out beds (1x queen, 1x double) and a dinette can sleep one more. There’s plenty of storage and the air conditioning keeps you comfortable on warm days. The kitchenette includes a cooktop, sink and a fridge that runs on gas or electricity, so you can camp how you like. We often free camp using torches and gas cooking, so Chase suits a mix of powered and basic sites. Important Notes • No solar – needs a powered site or your own power source • Awning is broken – sorry, no full awning or annex available • Older van – has some character, but all essentials work well • Not set up for full off-grid stays (beyond torches and gas cooking) Chase is ready to host your next adventure!

Hiring rules

  • • No smoking inside the caravan or near open canvas areas.
  • • No pets inside the van unless approved in advance.
  • • No travelling on unsealed or offroad tracks (Chase is not built for it).
  • • All hirers must follow weight and towing requirements if towing.
  • • Awning is not to be used (the arm is currently broken).
  • • Use only 240V powered sites or your own power source — Chase has no solar.
  • • Fridge must be levelled before switching to gas to avoid damage.
  • • Please treat the van with care — he’s older and has a bit of character.
  • • Report any damage or issues immediately so they can be fixed for the next hirer.
  • • Return the van clean (same condition as pickup).
  • • Empty all rubbish and remove food before returning.
  • • No climbing on the roof at any time.
  • • All accessories provided must be returned with the van.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
